I think if your fans just walk out their homes to attend that would be nice x

Alf 03-05-2014 10:18 PM

I still think there's gonna be another twist in the title race, I think if Liverpool can win the last two they'll win it.

Man city don't look in that great of form to me, Everton didn't play that well today and yet Man City were hanging on and but for Joe Hart could have conceded about 4 or 5 goals today. I think their gonna slip up.

Bellend

It's never even 'THAT' empty, apart from league cup games, Sunderland was shocking though. Every club has empty seats at times though tbf, never understood why ours gets talked about the most. We've sold out all of our games this season.

Drew. 03-05-2014 10:32 PM

Spurs are a joke, Lloris needs to get out of there asap.

jackc1806 03-05-2014 10:36 PM

Roll on the World Cup tbh

Drew. 03-05-2014 10:54 PM

This is pretty interesting, Wenger deserves more credit for competing with the big money spenders year after year

Villa? I can't remember them ever spending that much

Brother Leon 03-05-2014 11:01 PM

Would think Liverpool were swapped with Arsenal the way they are wanked over by the Media this season.

Said it before and I'll say it again..Arsene>>

MTVN 03-05-2014 11:43 PM

Yeah but if being that thrifty means you're never likely to challenge for the title does it deserve that much credit, Arsenal do actually have the means to spend big and give themselves a better chance they just don't want to

Drew. 03-05-2014 11:45 PM

United spend almost £80m and are a mile of the top 4 with a league winning side, just using them as an example.. shows how well Wenger does to continually spend less and loses star players every year but still remains in the top 4.

Shaun 04-05-2014 02:05 AM

I dunno, I'd say that's more out of the competition turning to **** than anything else. Aside from Everton, no one was ever going to come close to us.

Novo 04-05-2014 07:52 AM

Pards has made a 19 mil profit compared to who he has brought when he took over at Newcastle and got them into Europe in that time, spent 2 Mil this year and are in the top half in one of the most competitive seasons to date, The Newcastle fans need to be careful what they wish for

Only reason we're way off is due to a terrible managerial appointment.

It's a bit of both the players under performing & the wrong manager, the players proved that yesterday. United talking about needing to spend near to £200m just to get back up into the top 4 and challenge again which proves my point. Spurs & Liverpool have both out spent us by a ton and Spurs have only managed to come top 4 once and Liverpool dropped away for years, even Chelsea whilst spending millions came 6th a couple of years ago. Wenger keeping top 4 secured every year whilst having a new stadium built, paying it off & losing key players every summer deserves credit.

-Now I've said that, they'll get to celebrate on the final day of the season after costing us the title-

Why are you spending £200m on new players for, if it was solely down to the Manager?

You got rid of the manager so by what your saying you don't need new players. so why waste £200m?

Your one who want's Van Gaal in so who you gonna blame next season when you do sod all again? The tea lady?

If we had a manager that spent 30m on an actual midfielder instead of one of the most pathetic footballers to wear the shirt and one that wouldn't spend 40m on someone just to push him out of position due to being gutless towards Rooney then we wouldn't be this far from 4th. No one was talking about how poor the squad was until they magically became inept under Moyes. It's not all down to him obviously, but to think we would be in the same position regardless of who was in charge is bull**** only Moyes said and believed.

Sounds like Remy is at the game watching in at executive box
