Is there really any need for this band? They are the worst characters and most annoying people ever.. Warren and Brendan should be getting all the screentime no one wants to watch these 4

Thankfully the band are not long term characters and will be leaving.. just some people who are using the show to promote their music!

Reminds me of the story with that girl who went on to star in an ALW musical, was she called Summer ?

Kate! 14-12-2011 03:27 PM

Yes, Summer Strallen, her character was also called Summer. She was quite good, had a thing with OB if I remember correctly.

Yes.

I really liked her story on the show.

I've not been impressed with the band, it wasn't as bad when they had Michaela to lighten up the story.

Hollyoaks newcomer Ally will capture the attention of Amy Barnes and Michaela McQueen when he turns up in the village next year, it has been revealed.

At the weekend, it emerged that former Neighbours star Dan O'Connor had been cast to play Ally, a military serviceman with a dark past.

Hollyoaks bosses have now announced that Ally's first scenes will see him arrive as a lodger for Jacqui McQueen (Claire Cooper) and Rhys Ashworth (Andrew Moss).
As Ally settles in, he quickly sets hearts racing with Amy (Ashley Slanina-Davies), Michaela (Hollie-Jay Bowes) and Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) among those who are impressed by his looks.

Michaela's feisty side later comes to the fore when one of her closest allies seals the deal and bags a kiss with Ally.

O'Connor commented: "I'm really excited about joining Hollyoaks, especially with its recent success. I have already started filming in Liverpool and there is a real buzz and energy around the place.

"I'm really looking forward to working with some of the show's most popular characters and talented actors."

Hollyoaks will air Ally's first scenes in February.

Can't stand the whole Callum thing, if we're meant to believe him and Maddie ever had anything, you don't bring his weird old flame into it after the first date!

Legend killer 14-12-2011 08:30 PM

What's up with that bumfluff on Callum's upper lip??? Pathetic excuse for a tash Emmett should slap that boy silly

Annalise would make the perfect Wifey she cooks and cleans without any complaint and is always willing to jump into the sack at any given moment she is just adorable

I liked the whole Callum/Maddie story to begin with, but bringing in Tara so soon after their first date has kinda ruined it. It's like they are trying to tell us that Callum and Maddie are deeply in love and are just hurting each other rather than trying to work things out.

Too much too fast IMO.

Tom4784 14-12-2011 10:01 PM

The freshers have grown on me, Neil and Jonno still need to be axed from the 6th formers though.

Legend killer 14-12-2011 10:14 PM

I think Neil is a legend

I like all the fresehers except Ash and Wiil

And Neil and bart are the only six formers i like. Although i can deal with Sinead as she always has those AMAZING boobs on show

Hollyoaks star Gemma Merna has promised that the soap's bosses have a "big year" lined up for the McQueen family in 2012.

The actress, who has played Carmel McQueen for five years, expressed excitement over future storylines involving her screen family.

Merna told the Daily Star: "There's some really good stuff coming up next year - I'm not allowed to say anything so you'll just have to keep watching. But it's going to be a big year for the McQueen family.

"Hopefully I can get back to being 'fun' Carmel. She's had so many dramas with men, so it will be nice for her to have some fun. It's time for the family to get back to being the party McQueens."

The 27-year-old added that she would like to see Carmel come to the forefront in her own right in the coming months.

"Next year I want a fantastic storyline for Carmel and something to get my teeth into," she explained. "I think she's just pottered along so it would be nice next year for something to play out in Carmel's life without everyone else being involved. It would be great to see her a bit more on screen."

Carmel's main storylines this year saw her pursue a future as a nun before falling for con artist Father Francis (Richard Winsor).

They forgot about Carmel's role in the Theresa/Calvin thing and Baby Angel situation...

Back OT The McQueen's always have a big year:joker:.

Skip to 9mins to see Rob from Hollyoaks

bbfan1991 15-12-2011 03:38 PM

Hollyoaks, meanwhile, attracted 1.22m (5.9%) on Channel 4 at 6.30pm as the Maddie, Callum and Tara love triangle continued. Nancy's fears for Mitzeee then brought 592k (2.7%) to E4's first look at 7pm and 115k (0.5%) on E4+1.

I laughed hard at Brendon in the shop with George, brilliant:D

Just in case anyone hasn't seen tonight's E4 episode.

Legend killer 16-12-2011 06:39 PM

Geroge and Brendan scene has to go down as one of the classic Oaks scenes. The look on Brendan's face was just LOL

Seriously even though he has only been their a year he is easily already one of the Oaks greatest ever characters apart from Noah he makes everyone in the same scene seem better.

Also Rachel Shenton should be up for actresss of the year she is Mint aswell as Ass of the year for that epic Later ass shot
