Dancing On Ice star Jorgie Porter has revealed the secret to her top scoring routines, admitting that she is getting skating tips from fellow Hollyoaks co-stars who have also appeared on the celebrity reality show.
Jennifer Metcalfe, better known as Mercedes McQueen, and Kieron Richardson who plays Ste Hay, have been helping the young actress with her nerves. Jorgie, who plays Theresa McQueen on the popular Channel 4 soap, told The Mirror: “Kieron and Jen told me to not be scared - and not to be afraid to fall over either because there's a fear factor that stops you from doing tricks." The young actress added: "Jen said don't wear green. Apparently it's bad luck on the first show or something like that. I think every time a person has worn green on the first show they've been out. "The costume guy asked me if I was okay with wearing it and luckily I knew because Jen told me. She's so supportive." Juggling both Hollyoaks and Dancing On Ice has proved a challenge to the young star, who is finding that she is too busy to even have regular meals: "When I wake up, I have a nap in the car which is an hour to training, then I don't have food until one or two (o'clock) and I'm starving in the taxi, feeling really weak. "You kind of miss meals a bit because you're so busy. So you really need to remember to eat.” Luckily Hollyoaks’ bosses have been a bit more understanding in terms of schedules and have allowed Jorgie a few days off, after previous Dancing On Ice contestant Jennifer became so tired she kept falling asleep in the make-up chair and couldn’t even hold a conversation with her Hollyoaks co-stars. |
Some of the latest spoilers look good.
http://www.waveguide.co.uk/hollyoaks.htm I wish they gave Tony a better storyline than that though:bored:. |
Hollyoaks star Anna Shaffer has admitted that she wants her character Ruby Button to maintain her latest romance.
Viewers have recently seen Ruby pursue a relationship with sixth former Jono (Dylan Llewellyn), who was introduced to the soap last summer. However, whether the couple are built to last remains to be seen, as Ruby is motivated by a desire to climb the social ladder by joining the sixth form gang - while Jono is looking for any opportunity to brag to his friends. Shaffer told OK Extra of the storyline: "You're left wondering whether they will get together. She's spent a year being horrible to everyone, so it would be good if she settled down and started having a nice time with Jono." "[Ruby] is a tart with a heart, but she finds it hard to trust people," she continued. "She has deep-seated insecurities and she feels quite lonely." Shaffer added that she is still enjoying life at Hollyoaks after starring on the show for just over a year. "It's been the best year of my life," she said. "It was daunting, but I've made great friends too. I live with Jorgie Porter and we're really close. "We watch trashy telly like the Kardashians. We can't cook, but we love Marks and Spencer's food because you can just shove it in the oven and it tastes amazing!" |
Looks ok, but looks like Lynsey is on the back of Mercedes storyline :bored:
|
I liked the Savage family scenes strangely.
The teens are better now and Maddie is back, oh joy her character is supposed to be unlikeable but she just could not accept that her friends had been doing other things while she was away and not thinking about her:joker:. Wish there could have been more Lynsey/Brendan/Cheryl scenes... |

It's like Aaron in Emmerdale and Becky in Corrie. Both those came into the soaps with a big bang and I think they blew many fans away. Then when the producers knew how much they were loved and the impact they made on their shows, it felt like they were throwing everything at them. I picked up on a few sites that fans were getting tired. I can't remember where I read this, but somewhere it was nicknamed Aarondale. It might have been on here. I could watch Brendan every night, he's such a complex character, but I'd rather they gave him regular breaks. I was so waiting for him to appear after he ran away from prison, but actually enjoyed the suspense even more. Waiting, knowing that he was going to turn up in the end. |
We won't be seeing Diane till the end of March. Alex Fletcher confirmed it, she is so underused and how frustrating it must be for her:(.

Hollyoaks fans will see Nancy Hayton's mother Margaret pay a return visit to the village next month, it has been revealed.
Margaret, who was last seen on screen in 2007, could throw a spanner in the works for Nancy's (Jessica Fox) relationship with Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) as All About Soap reports that she is determined to split the pair up once she makes her arrival. Digital Spy can confirm that actress Darryl Fishwick has reprised the role of Margaret for the return stint. As fans already know, Darren will soon start plotting a surprise wedding for Nancy, but if Margaret causes trouble, could things go awry for his secret plan? Hollyoaks will air these scenes in early February. Ooh this will be interesting:). |
Callum's mum is a milf :amazed:

Hollyoaks' new recruit Dan O'Connor has predicted that it won't take long before his character Ally finds romance in the village.
The former Neighbours star joined the cast of the soap late last year and viewers will see Ally's first scenes in a fortnight's time. Hinting at what the future holds for the new arrival, O'Connor told All About Soap: "There's definitely potential for a romantic relationship developing between Ally and someone, but my lips are sealed on who it could be!" Ally sets up home in Hollyoaks as a new lodger for Rhys Ashworth (Andrew Moss) and Jacqui McQueen (Claire Cooper), but the pair's neighbours Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) and Amy Barnes (Ashley Slanina-Davies) are particularly intrigued by his presence. "Both Ste and Amy take an instant fancy to him, but Ally's not really aware of their interest," O'Connor continued. "The whole thing is pretty innocent to start off with, but it quickly gets more complicated when Ste and Amy make it their mission to find out whether Ally is gay or straight. "There's some mystery surrounding Ally's sexual orientation, but I don't think he realises that Amy and Ste are trying to find out which way he swings. They're both being ultra nice and saying suggestive things to him. I know which team he bats for, but the producers have sworn me to secrecy." Hollyoaks airs Ally's first episode on Tuesday, January 31 at 6.30pm on Channel 4. |
Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring has admitted that her character Cindy Longford has a hidden agenda when she agrees to help ex-boyfriend Darren Osborne with his secret wedding mission.
As fans already know, Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) will soon start plotting the ultimate romantic gesture for partner Nancy (Jessica Fox) as he makes plans for a surprise wedding ceremony. Cindy later becomes embroiled in Darren's scheme when she pretends to be Nancy in front of the registrar for his wedding licence to be granted - as seen in pictures released at the weekend. However, Cindy is actually harbouring real feelings for Darren - secretly hoping that she can win him back. Waring told TV Times: "Cindy has got her own agenda. It used to be all about the money for her, but now she's lost it, she realises what's important. "Darren is her soulmate. He's always been there for her and she wants him back." Cindy lost her assets at the beginning of the year after poor financial decisions came back to haunt her. Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with a first look screening at 7pm on E4. |
Poor George at the end of tonight's E4 :(

I am liking Ruby atm, never minded her most of the time even in her bitchiness mode. Maddie is getting more unlikeable on purpose;).
Darren and Rhys teasing each other is hilarious considering they both used to dislike one another:D. |
I'm liking Ruby too, but i think it's because of Jono, because I can't be doing with her when she's with anyone else.
Maddie is annoying me, my guess is she's been sexually abused as a child. |

Ruby and Jono are somwhat cute, but George/Callum/Phoebe's storyline is surprisingly really interesting, cant wait for further developments. 'George' is a good actor. |
Teens are getting tedious D: They're all over

Riley is definitely returning to Hollyoaks as I saw a picture and a few statuses about Rob Norbury returning to work...
