It wasn't the tweet it's self but rather the replies Bob made to his fans
I know they can't always take pictures with everyone and don't have any obligation to put if you know faking a smile for 10 seconds at a meet and greet or when you're in a bar or whatever will make someone's day and potentially make them so happy, then why not just do it...

I also don't hate Shangela I just thought, like it seems most fans also do, that her responding to that tweet with that was very inappropriate

So many of the queens have talked about not always having time or effort to stop and talk to all fans on the streets and stuff but Bob is openly saying that he is not a nice person and isn't going to pretend to be nice or happy or whatever to the fans that have paid to meet him and I'm just, why even tweet about that what was the point

I don't think Meet and Greets are the issue here, though, this seems to be addressing being approached outside of work. And anyone who's a fan of Bob should really expect her to be a kinda deadpan, sarcastic person when she's not on stage - most of S8 was spent with Bob's confessionals being very dry, in contrast to her performance energy.

Anyway this is odd bc if anything I've been a little eyerolly over Bob lately with her defence of RuPaul :laugh: but I am 100% on her side here when it comes to fans expecting too much.

But it's the tweets like "you were more excited to meet me than I was to meet you" whilst obviously true, I just don't understand why that is somethin you feel the need to tweet to your fans who probabaly respect and look up to you, it just appears like she's pushing it too far just to prove her original plot

It amazes me how people can drag Bob for "not caring about Drag Race fans" when his LGBT activism has done alot more for his fans than saying "hi" would ever do

I'm not trying to argue with Shaun though, it's a discussion on a forum and I agree with a lot of the stuff he's saying I was just giving my view on Bob's tweets-

and I've even said that his most recent tweets cleared things up so I don't think he doesn't care about fans, I'm just questioning why he tweeted some of the things he did that seem to maybe belittle how much his fans mean to him, but it was probabaly just a heat of the moment thing and he's now said what he really meant
