I hadn't heard that before. Yeah that high pitched staccato at the beginning sounds like the bells you often hear in a religious chant. I wonder if that was intentional.

Plus I'll only be watching Sunday because it's the final week. I only really catch the eviction shows these days most of the time.

That's a really nice waltz... and I'm normally not keen Brahms' orchestral music. In any case, his 4th symphony was on the radio today.

Love traditional Irish or Celtic music.

I was at this gig. They always start with this track just to warm the band up. So brilliant.

You can take the pi$$ out of him as much as you like, but the man can sing. Wish the whole track was on this recording.

Falling Slowly won the Oscar for best song, and although it's probably the better written piece of music - and that's nowhere near definite in my mind - I still think this is my favourite piece from the score, purely because of the moment it occurs in the film itself. Really powerful scene in the movie.

For anyone who liked Once, this is Glen Hansard's band, and they're pretty great.

On a real Irish buzz. Probably because I'm playing Paddy Power Poker! I'll snap out of it eventually.
