Welcome to Live Show 5 of the Z Factor, and I hope you enjoy Guy Fawkes' night! Tonight's result show will feature a very special video performance from TiBB's very own Thomas_C! Tonight's show has, as always, a theme. Tonight's theme is "songs that guarantee one of the favourites will go in a shock elimination." As always, it is up to the contestants how best to interpret the theme; so expect a wide variety of performances! The remaining eight contestants are battling for your votes; and with the last of the double eliminations out of the way, they can relax to an extent; but at the same time they can't - only six of them are guaranteed places in Sunday's live show 6. Let's welcome the Z Factor judges and their remaining acts!

Tonight's show is the first show with a single elimination since the Z Factor began; meaning that the act finishing bottom of the voting is not eliminated automatically. Of the eight remaining acts... Belle Amie were in the bottom three in live show 3; Katie in live show 4. As with the real X Factor; there has (so far) been a tendency for acts that featured in the bottom two/three to escape it the following show due to a surge in popularity. Belle Amie are at serious risk, statistically speaking! Keep the votes coming though, every vote changes the result and the more I get, the more exciting the final result it!
