Rihanna's crap, Xtina's song will be totally forgotten this time next year, and I've never quite got the buzz about the OMAM song... I do know it's nice though, it just seems like a bit of an Arcade Fire imitation.

We seem to be struggling to mimic last year's Pitchfork "Song of the Year" copycat, though, when we crowned M83's Midnight City the winner :love: (this year's was Grimes' Oblivion)

Of Monsters And Men and Icona Pop have been two of my fave tracks from 2012, but overall I found 2012 to be a really **** year for music in general.

Frank Ocean is very overrated, I don't get the hype with him. A good thing to come out of this is I have now discovered Grimes, so I have that to be thankful of.

Frank bores me, although I didnt hear Pyramid until this thread, the first half sucks but the second half is really good.
