..my 'h' key is a bit rubbish atm/hit and miss so I'm sounding a bit Irish sometimes...

Niamh. 22-06-2015 11:41 AM

Yeah same really Ammi. Sarah, Kieran and Jade were my favourites, now Jade is gone I have no one. I'm trying to pick one to get behind but I just don't like any of them.

Ammi 22-06-2015 12:01 PM

..Jade was always a bit flip flop with Jade but really only because of the baby voice thing which is a pet hate of mine...but she did stop doing that and I really started to like her just before she was evicted....I loves Sally, Amy and Sarah and also like Kieran a lot as well and hated when they all went...I did enjoy it for a bit with the 4 in after around a week but then I think there has just been too much BB manipulation plus I'm finding them such a self centred lot of housemates and hard to find any interest in them....I don't feel any real bonds in there as much as other times...

lily. 22-06-2015 12:02 PM

How is everyone on this fine rainy Monday ... no work for me today, so catching up with my finances... that's always fun lol

Ammi 22-06-2015 12:24 PM

..my finances are in a little jar in my lounge...I like to save if I can in those Terrinundi pots, have you seen them Lily..?..you have to break them when they're full so you can't really cheat and take some out once it's in there..it takes ages to fill one and then I get another one just before I break it so I can start again...each time it's saving for something different..Christmas or something so it doesn't feel so expensive when it comes...

I have seen those pots.. I actually gave one as an engagement present once... with 'Wedding Fund' on it.. it was quite lovely..

But I wouldn't want to break it... I would feel like I had wasted it.. so they are definitely no good to me..

..yeah I felt like that the first time Lily, especially as it was a gift from a friend..I just thought I'll save £1 coins when I can but won't break it but if it ever gets full, I'll just buy another one and do that one as well and then maybe I could buy an island or something one day...but then when it was full last summer, my son and his partner were moving into their own place and needed a few kitchen things so I actually enjoyed getting the hammer out and smashing it, it felt as good as the filling of it did...plus I always have a new one to start as well....so probably no island though as I keep smashing them...

No rain here today but it's a little cloudier and cooler than it was at the weekend

lily. 22-06-2015 02:31 PM

I'm sick of this weather tbh. It's June and it's just not been nice at all. Hopefully we will get a late summer.

Niamh. 22-06-2015 02:34 PM

Yeah, we got a bit spoiled the last few years with our summers, this year has been very hit and miss

lily. 22-06-2015 06:55 PM

Everywhere I turn I come across the video of the wee boy in Bradford getting the **** kicked out of him by 3 other lads. I have not and I will not watch it. It's so disturbing.

The older boys have apparently been charged. If that was my kid I would find it difficult to leave it to the police tbh.

Ammi 22-06-2015 07:04 PM

...wow, I haven't seen/heard that story Lily...I'm not sure that I could watch the vid either but do you have a link to the story..?..

I watched it and it's horrible, he was on the floor cowering and they were kicking the poor guy in the head :(

Ammi 22-06-2015 07:43 PM

..I've just read the story on the DM site, the pics are so, so disturbing, I can't watch the vid though either....his poor family will probably have watched it though, so upsetting for them to feel so helpless to someone doing that to their child...

lily. 22-06-2015 08:17 PM

My o/h watched it on his phone and I had to cover my ears. The wee lad crying was unbearable.

Ammi 22-06-2015 08:20 PM

..why would anyone post something like that on Facebook...

lily. 22-06-2015 08:22 PM

It was the boys who did it. They posted it. Thankfully it led to their arrest. They've also been named and shamed on twitter and Facebook.

Ammi 22-06-2015 08:26 PM

..the actual violence is so awful ..but as his parent to have it 'bragged' about as well, what those boys did to their son...laughed at like it was nothing/like he was nothing...

Vanessa 22-06-2015 08:30 PM

Hi everyone! I sent my sister some money with Western Union. Hopefully she will get it. I tried her bank account, but it wasn't going through. And last week my wallet was stolen. :fist:

lily. 22-06-2015 08:30 PM

Yeah. That's what gets me Ammi. Remember when it was my kid and there was no video. It's still heartbreaking

..I know...but as much as there is a mixture of emotions and feelings for the people who would do it, I think that a mums only focus and concern would be for her child and making sure that he was ok, not just physically...the same for you I think...
