Madonna to present video of the year award tonight at the VMA'S.

The media is blasting Madonna for "talking about herself for 10 minutes instead of Aretha", but it was a tribute from HER to Aretha, her connection between her and Aretha’s music. I think people are making mountains out of molehills, and it's just another excuse to bash her....but oh well.

...well all of them obviously...she’s looking quite shabby in comparison I would say, Nancy..:laugh:..letting herself go a bit there which is very un-Madonna like but hopefully it’s just a fleeting phase...I love her new look..but then I’ve loved most of her looks and personas etc...do we know what her new music vibe will be atm...?...

:laugh: I don't agree, Ammi. The 60 year olds i've seen do not have a body like that. They're much chunkier and their breasts have gone south. I think she's finally accepted that she's never going to have the body of a 20 year old anymore and i'm pleased for her. I just wish she'd give up on those face fillers because it looks un-natural and she doesn't need them. Still, i'm not worrying too much because she usually looks fab whenever she returns with new music.

Speaking of music, her new album is "infused" with Portuguese fado music, so i'm quite excited by this direction.

..yeah I wasn’t being serious, Nancy..:laugh:...she looks amazing and always has done really when I think about it..she’s always reinvented herself, her image etc... through every age, you know...with the face fillers..?..yeah I do see what you mean completely, Nancy...but she could also look a little masculine as well I think before the fillers so they have softened those edges I think...and as you say, she always looks fabulous and she does have natural beauty...which can’t be taken away whether it’s a little filled or not..so I guess it’s just what she wants and feels happy with...a little filled or a little not filled..she’s Madonna and she’s unique and she’s fabulous..:lovedup:...
