Everyone is raving about it being such a good 'true to big brother' series and yet since launch its lost 400k viewers which is almost half the bloody thingy!

People are just over it unfortunately and its not as if there have been any significant moments and we are past the halfway point now.

Usually with every BB something big has happened which gets the casual viewer to tune in and gives the overall show a boost.

Nothings happened this year and the market is over saturated with reality shows now more than ever though I think The Circle and BB are the only 2 out there actually worth watching.

BB isn't exactly cool to watch I mean people deny watching it ffs lol.

That's neither funny or even logical. Just stop embarrassing yourself.

What's strange is that a 4.4% share isn't even that bad, plus that's only the first time it's been below 5! Some episodes last year got like 3.5% and yet had 700k viewers. So it's quite clear that a lot of people just aren't watching TV so late at night, during term time. Plonk it back in summer and the 5% share would be closer to 900k viewers

Why do people constantly look for excuses as to why the viewing figures are bad? It's not because it's on late, it's not because it's October, it's not because it's "Up Against" other high rating shows on at the same time - the shows dead because people don't want to watch it anymore. If it were the timing that's the problem and it's on too late people would record it or watch on demand therefore in theory (when officials come in) there would be no change in viewing figures. That's not the case though as officials keep falling too - people have just stopped watching big brother.

Nobody is denying the civilian version is dead whatsoever. There are factors as to why it’s this dead though.

A slight rise i guess but yeah tonight will be terrible and imagine how few people there will be in the audience due to this storm

Good news! Just as The Circle has ended, Celebs Go Dating begins - and it’s been demoted from 9pm to 10pm, against Big Brother every week day :) :) :)

It averaged 450k / 800k last series

Rob! 12-10-2018 12:50 PM

Mess.

Greg! 12-10-2018 01:19 PM

MESS Channel 4 just don't want to give Miss BB a break do they?

Rob! 13-10-2018 09:29 AM

544k (4.4%) incl +1. Not much to say.

Seeing online that we’ll be having some 10:30 starts in the next couple of weeks finishing at midnight. Channel 5 really kicking the show now but are we even surprised? I can’t wait to just abandon the channel completely once BB is over.

Provisional listings for the week after next apparently. Wouldn’t surprise me whatsoever if it was true.

Just checked on my Virgin box and for the next 2 weeks its 10pm as usual other than the Tuesday's 10:15 start

I just pray that some kind of "behind-the-scenes" deal has been made between Endemol and another channel/platform before this series started. Maybe Rylan's constant hinting at ITV is a good sign.

Would just be such a shame to see the franchise end on such low figures due to C5's mistreatment of it

pontyboi 15-10-2018 02:15 PM

What does everyone think todays officials will be?

I'm going highest 900k but would be nice if could stay above 1 million.

pontyboi 15-10-2018 03:04 PM

Where are the officials?

well, unfortunately half of the 4 screen data isn't available for BBUK because they were out width C5's Top 15 programmes of the week...

so, will have to wait for the regular data (excluding on demand) later where we'll hopefully see all 6 episodes in the top 30...

**** :/ I kind of want to see how low these ratings can go now tbh.

Tues - 0.99m (+392k)**
Wed - 1.03m (+375k)
Thu - 1.11m (+414k)
Frid - 0.98m (+400k)**
Sun - 0.93m (+357k)**

**don't Include On Demand

Week Average - 1.06 million (this includes on demand and is therefore the exact same as week 2)

I actually expected it to be lower than that.

Pretty much all 1 million.
