...I wasn’t familiar with Pointless as it isn’t something I’d watched/just more of a background thing if it’s ever been on...anyways, I was doing rubbish and thought..hang on, it doesn’t have to be obscure, it just has to be the least thought of...I asked Shaun as well if that was allowed and revealed my tactic to him...I did lots of googling like mad as well and spent hours thinking and overthinking answers before submitting...anyways it isn’t a tactic anymore and could have been used to ‘out tactic’ as it were, when realised...but instead, it was revealed in the thread and maybe caused some resentment...so now seems ‘pointless’ to continue...

It was just an observation Ammi, I didn’t expect a big debate about it, I did it myself in the first round with the channel BB was aired on, and other people have done it as well though not in as many questions so its a well done from me, why can’t you just take it as a compliment rather than making a drama out if it :shrug:

...an ‘observation’ made publicly, Cherie, that’s the difference...and as you say, it’s not considered an unusual tactic in any way and is one you have used yourself...anyways I don’t have anything else to say...you’re completely aware of ‘your tactic’ by declaring it publicly, rather than using it to ‘out tactic’...and as you yourself said a bit earlier in the thread...your ‘declaring and non declaring’ are not necessarily consistent...


..I tried so hard to not put more ‘top answers’ but still ones that were less obscure etc...I googled and googled and agonised etc to try to get ‘that middle ground’...I guess that I was just as rubbish at the tactical part than at the non tactical part...tactical playing is not a natural mindset for me...

With regard to the miscounting that person is no longer playing, it’s not really an issue of consistency, more that their score plus one didn’t impact anyone

...well, let’s begin a new day/turn a new page etc...I think that my thoughts were that this was the round that was going to do me in...(...well actually, I thought that in the last round as well...)...Shaun will confirm that I said to him...how come no one else uses this tactic..?...etc...anyways, this round was really difficult for me because there were so few options on many to try to get that ‘not too obscure’ but ‘ not too TA’, you know...because I really am a google queen and have been google crazy every round...so anyways, it is what it is and I’m honestly fine with it, Cherie...I’ve enjoyed it all..(...the tactic bit as well/..which I’m obviously rubbish at ...)...and there are other reasons why I’m struggling to fit the time taken for each round in as well, so actually, all is good/my focus is a bit in different directions...?...I honestly mean that...and I sincerely apologise to anyone who might have any negative feelings about it....

In previous games I sent the same answers for both pointless and top answers and it usually flopped it’s a common tactic I don’t see the issue
