I was 5 and the faces and sadness felt by neighbours and family I couldn't take in obviously.

It just seemed all went dark for a good while.
I can remember anger towards the Royals though.

It's just when I watched the film.
None of the main Royals, The Queen, Prince Philip and the Queen Mother seemed to be portrayed in a good light at all.
Prince Charles was portrayed better.

i was working in london at the time and folk were disappearing at lunchtime to go and lay flowers, and I can say categorically, that there was considerable anger directed toward the royal family. It took many, many years for the queen to be forgiven. I lost a lot of respect for the queen during that time that was never recovered

The president of the USA is the biggest name on a list when it comes to terror group’s wanting a leader dead because of what he represents.
