I do think that Marcello's behaviour has been blown slightly out of proportion.

He isn't exactly a John James or Sezer imo.

No, and there’s a part of me that loved Marcello but he was far from perfect and would’ve been a far less-deserving winner than Ali. He’s even come out on his Insta. to apologise for things that he said which might’ve offended. He’s still learning but people with less of that kind of toxicity in them learnt those things a trillion years ago.

I don't know, I think that Ali displayed her own toxic behaviour throughout the series imo, especially towards Khaled and Marcello.

But I personally don't believe that having character flaws should stop anyone from winning BB, if anything it's the ones like Izaaz and Segun who are trying to hide their flaws that shouldn't win imo.

And going back to Marcello there were three moments in the series where I personally did object to his behaviour, just to be balanced about him.

1. His argument with Sarah over the chicken with the "it was just banter" douchebagery that you would expect to hear from Kris from BB10.

2. Him getting up in Sarah's face over the Influencer debate. It's honestly not that deep to react the way that Marcello did imo.:laugh:

3. His bizarre comment to Rosie in week 1 about wanting to bend her over whilst cooking food. I don't know why exactly but that comment was just strange to me.

They only show a few minutes from each day ( plus the intermittent LIVE show ) though..

I watched every minute of all three shows in the first two weeks and virtually everytime Marcello was on screen he was saying/suggesting something smutty . One episode in the LIVE show he spent ages initiating ‘play fighting’ with Lily …

There were hundreds of official complaints to Ofcom about his unsavoury ‘behaviour’ in the first ten days or so ..

If he toned things down after that then maybe BB had a word with him ??

A couple of the early evicted housemates mentioned that the female housemates weren’t comfortable with him

Ryan liked Marcello, admittedly you are right that Daze had issues with Marcello's behaviour, and Izaaz mainly had issues with Nathan openly from what I remember.

And in those early episodes I also hated Marcello for the very reason that you didn't like him, but if we're being fair the production were making Marcello into a caricature in those early episodes, because to me he felt three dimensional by the time we're in the third week, which is how it should've been for Marcello from week 1.
