…yeah, Annie is probably correct I would say…the only thing that swayed me to Gamer was that the game became a worldwide sensation and made him extremely wealthy etc…which fitted the clue ‘we love it’…but the audience lived the Running Man as well…:laugh:…I think that I’m starting to overthink…:laugh:…

Just read through the plot of The Running Man (I have seen it but years ago) and could be this part at the end :

Richards forces Killian into a rocket-powered sled and jettisons him into the game zone. The sled crashes through Killian's billboard image and explodes, killing him.
