I was up early today, had to drop Gav to work on my way in as his car is in the garage atm, only in work for half a day today as we're heading to Dublin for the Ludovico Einaudi concert tonight

I palmed off the kids who are on summer break already, to my parents who are taking them to the seaside for a couple of days. My OH doesn't get home till Thursday so I have the whole house to myself. Bliss......

And surprisingly was all good by Monday evening. Was just as well, was my last day at work on Tuesday so had to go into the Bristol office to return work stuff.

I'm nearly home from our trip. On the bus now. 5 minute walk when I get off.

Had a great time in Southport. Definitely an interesting place to visit.

Crazy coaster. Definitely the best in the country right now.

That's what Matthew said - he loved it and can't wait to go again. My brother lives about 10 minutes away from the park so his kids go loads and so Matthew goes every time he goes to visit. It was closed the time before last when he went and he was gutted so they just spent the last time queuing and then re-queuing for it :laugh:

We went a couple of months ago and started queuing for it, it broke down then started up again. Then valleyed. We gave up in the end.

Made up for it yesterday though. Got on it twice.
