The one positive of these disaster election results the last few years is that we can see the Brexit Gang realise that they had no clue what they were really voting for, and scramble to try blame anyone but themselves for the mess they will put us in.

They didn't admit they didn't know what they were voting for at the time, they won't admit it now, they'll just look to blame remainers or the eu. |

Yeah, you're right. All the things that were raised throughout the last 5 years and were ignored, or flat out dismissed as project fear are coming true, and the first thought is to say everyone's as bad as each other? N'ah, the important part of that is no one believing us when it could/should have made a difference. 52% of the UK have been on track to sabotage the place in spite of the mountain of evidence of how things would turn out. Do you think I haven't been saying that everyone gets hurt if things go wrong? People have been cheerleading this sh1tshow for half a decade, enjoying taking rights away from future generations to protect the country from immigrants, because they've apparently only just found out that immigrants have been saving their lives during covid. The arrogance of the "we know what we voted for" crowd, is not on par with a couple of dudes on a forum saying this is fcuking stupid. |

I actually feel a bit bereaved as we have to tell our EU students who are deferring due to Covid they will be paying overseas rates next year effectively doubling their fees to 30k plus
|
i believe that we have a better chance of getting a deal now than we had before-covid. Yes, we could exit without a deal still, but businesses on both sides of the channel will be applying severe pressure to get a deal done. I'm considerably more hopeful than I was in January, although, admittedly that's not saying a lot
