BAD girl Mercedes Fisher is all smiles when her ex-fiancé walks back into her life – after a heartfelt plea from her sister Jacqui.

As our picture shows, the gorgeous brunette is happier than she has been in weeks when hunky footballer Riley Costello turns up at the McQueens’ house.

But with the single dad having settled in Leeds with the couple’s son Bobby, it’s going to take some doing for Riley to move back to Chester.

In emotional scenes, Mercedes will beg him to give their relationship another go for the sake of their baby boy.

But whether Riley can forget about her steamy affair with his dad Carl remains to be seen.

Hollyoaks insider said: “Riley has moved on with his life.

“When Jacqui phones to tell him Mercedes has hit rock bottom he’s happy to see her.

“But whether he can get back with her is a different matter. He’s got a lot of thinking to do after she humiliated him.”

I liked that C4 episode and the characters that were in it:). Storylines flowed nicely and bits I enjoyed were Mercedes/Mitzeee bitching at each other, Will and Joel's fight over Theresa and Doug/Ste in the Coffee Shop over the job but what a mean trick that Doug did!

Latest spoilers, these sound good:).

I did like the revenge Ste got back on him though.

True. Can't really say I care for Ste though. I feel he's turned more into Kieron than Ste, he's a totally different person. The fake tan, trendy clothes and haircut. I know people change when they come out sometimes, but Ste's almost a different person.

My wife was saying exactly the same to me the other night. It's true, they've turned him into Kieron.

They need to do some work on his character, because he is slowing becoming a background filler. There's been nothing since Brendon and as much as I enjoyed the tension between those two characters, I feel that story is dead and hope they don't try and resurrect it just for the sake of it.

I think Smithwick said they probabl wouldn't but not too sure on that. It's odd the way they're going with Brenden and this apprentice thing, they brought Joel back in a pretty ridiculous way anyway

Yes, I'm a bit puzzled where they are going with Brendon and Joel. Either (or I'm hoping) it's a big devious plot where Brendan is going to use Joel with Joel realising this, or (& I hope it's not this) they take a journey with Brendan where he fancies Joel..

The big question is what is in it for Brendan?

I guess the whole rival thing was never gonna work out cos like he said he'd destroy him easy, maybe he's keeping a watch on him. And his house will be quite crowed now but I guess Declan did live there at one point. I guess it will be interesting to see where it goes.

Do you think Callum's mum could be bipolar or something? Seems the way they're going with it

If it's written well it could be really interesting character development for both of them.

I didn't think bipolar, but I did think she was acting very odd, especially when she's the one who organised the house sale.

I think you may have a point, her behaviour is very similar to some who suffer with bipolar. I would love to see Hollyoaks tackle such an important
issue.

They have two of the best new actors in Callum & Ash who could carry it off brilliantly, and I also think the guy playing George is an excellent actor. The character George could be the one that gets through to Callum's mum.

I like Callum and Ash's mom Martha:). She is crazy and hilarious!

Hollyoaks bosses have announced that stars from the soap will host a sponsored sleep-out next week to raise money for homelessness charity Centrepoint.

Cast and crew will brace themselves for a cold night on Thursday, March 1 as they sleep in the centre of Hollyoaks village at the show's base in Childwall, Liverpool.

Hollyoaks stars are taking on the challenge to tie in with the drama's ongoing homelessness storyline, which recently saw teenager George Smith (Steven Roberts) and his friend Phoebe (Mandip Gill) struggling with life on the streets.

Show chiefs have promised that the upcoming event "will deliver surprises and guest appearances" as Hollyoaks and Centrepoint aim to raise money throughout the night and beyond.

Centrepoint's chief executive Seyi Obakin commented: "We're delighted that Hollyoaks village is hosting a sleep-out. Thanks to the storyline that has unfolded over the last few months, a large audience of young people is more aware of homelessness - an issue over 80,000 of their peers face every year across the UK.

"Sleeping out won't be easy for the cast, but it will give them a glimpse of what so many young people go through every night. We urge you to support them, so we can give young people the support they need to turn their lives around."

Hollyoaks has also confirmed that George's storyline is far from over, as next month viewers will see Phoebe betray the sixth former by leading him straight back into the hands of evil Deena (Sian Breckin) and Graham (Steven Marsh).

Fans will remember that the twisted pair recently held George and Phoebe against their will before they managed to escape. The return of the villains will result in a dramatic and harrowing week for George.

To help raise money ahead of the upcoming sleep-out, Centrepoint are also offering one fan and four friends the chance to win a Hollyoaks set tour if they donate via text to the charity. Details of the competition can be found on the Centrepoint website.

A Justgiving site will be available to make donations from Tuesday, February 28 when the text to donate competition closes.

This sounds a good idea and it will raise money to help the homeless and spread awareness of this issue to other people:).

Kate! 22-02-2012 01:10 PM

That's a brilliant idea. The cast of Hollyoaks seem to like giving something back, Mitzeee actress Rachel Shenton is always doing sponsored events for various charities and they have the football team as well, went to see them play once, was great. Tony's brother Dom was still in the show and he signed my sons programme and chatted to him for a while. Nice guy.

I missed the C4 episode from earlier:(, got to catch up tomorrow.

Just been reading up on a few things on Digital Spy and there are lots of dividing of opinions of certain characters/storylines.

bbfan1991 22-02-2012 09:44 PM

Hollyoaks star Rob Norbury has said that there is "unfinished business" between his character Riley Costello and glamour girl Mitzeee Minniver.

Riley returns to the village next week after Jacqui McQueen (Claire Cooper) makes contact with him and reveals how much his ex-fiancée Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) has been struggling in his absence.

Norbury told TV Times that Riley is sceptical when Mercedes later asks him for another chance, but decides to stay in the area for longer than planned due to Mitzeee (Rachel Shenton).

"[Mercedes is] trying to prove that she can be the perfect girl, but too much has gone on for Riley to buy into that," Norbury explained. "He wants to tie up some loose ends in Hollyoaks, then head off."

He added: "Riley prolongs his stay because of his closeness to Mitzeee. There's a bit of unfinished business there."

Norbury also revealed that Jacqui is equally suspicious of Mercedes's intentions when the feisty McQueen claims to want a happy family life.

"Jacqui is worried that Mercedes just wants Riley, rather than the baby," he said.

I'm liking Lacey Kane so far, easy to see why she is a spoilt brat and ouch at her attitude to George. The hat needs to go!

I am enjoying the McQueen scenes.

Ally/Amy/Michaela/Ste thing is funny too:joker:.

Me. I Am Salman 24-02-2012 06:52 PM

Mercedes is such a slag + the writers are making her too predictable. Fgs will she ever stop having affairs? Change the record! :bored:

bbfan1991 24-02-2012 07:50 PM

Ste and Doug, well that came out of nowhere but I am enjoying their scenes.

Rhys didn't pull out of that kiss when Mercedes lunged in on C4 episode:eek:, whilst Jacqui was out trying to get Riley to change his mind RE Mercedes.

Lacey having a change of heart on George after one episode was amusing too.
