11:4 is better than 5:2 ... just ..

They’d take their fakeness to a whole new level and it would encourage tactical voting whenever they got chance to vote someone out ..or not save them .

And that's what would make it better. 50k (25k by now) is nothing since most of them can make that money in a month. If it was increased to say 100k, 250k or even 500k then we'd see if they're actually in there for love or money. It would make for amazing TV if one of them stole it if the prize money was increased.

:fist: I'd have had £40 on that and be £110 richer today.

This series marks the first time that the final got less overnight viewers than the opening episode

Still decent figures though given that each year there’s more and more options in competition ( more channels, YouTube, Netflix , Amazon Prime , the new Disney channel .. and all the Internet distractions..

Jess was so dull to watch...and all the stuff about getting her sisters approval was pathetic imo. As a love interest wouldn’t you want someone that wanted you for being YOU and not because you happened to meet the approval of your sister

Not just dull either ... I found her to be completely fake / false on sooooo many levels ... even that emotionless , monotone voice

I honestly don’t think their ‘special’ relationship will ever be the same .. knowing Jess’s personality now I reckon that Jess will be extremely aggrieved for a long , long time ..

I still think Jess should have walked out with Eve .. as a show of solidarity..

Knowing the power of social media I bet the producers would have brought them both back a week or so later ..

To be fair, unless you're a twin I don't think we get it. I have friends who are twins and they are so weirdly close...they can't be friends with people unless each of them are....its a weird bond thing

Nah, you only think she should have walked because you don't like her. Love island afaic have never brought back dumped islanders.

I actually think she’d have ‘appeared’ to be so loyal that the fans would have practically demanded their return

So is aftersun reunion not even happening?! Some cast didnt get a single interview

Morgan. 25-02-2020 12:43 PM

I’m sure the reunion was normally the following week, but Laura didn’t say anything on air about it.

Tony Montana 25-02-2020 02:26 PM

Just had a look at series 3, 4 and 5's finale, and Caroline mentioned near the end that there will be a reunion episode for their respective series'. I guess this means that there won't be a reunion episode this series if Laura didn't mention it.

Dogeatdog 25-02-2020 03:03 PM

On my Sky box there’s no LI reunion showing for Sunday so I reckon they’re not gonna do one this year.

I am a twin...but I’m single minded and I would be disappointed in my twin if they were unable to accept who I happen to love unless that person did something to upset them....

Tbh I could imagine with all that’s happened over the last week or so and the news still being pretty fresh to the islanders who’ve just come out the show, its probably best that they don’t do a reunion this year. I doubt the crew backstage would really be up for it too as I could imagine Caroline’s death has affected some of them quite a bit, so for their sake it’s probably best they skip the reunion this year.
