Dark times lie ahead for Arsenal unless they buy a good striker before the start of the season. Van Persie just isn't consistent enough, Eduardo is always getting injured, Bendtner is a waste of space, Vela isn't good enough for the premiership yet, and Arshavin is played as a midfielder for them.

They'll be a distant fourth at best, will be surprised if they can finish above City, Tevez will be scoring at least 10 in the league, same for Santa Cruz, and Adebayor will be 15+, and they'll have plenty of goals coming from Robinho and Stephen Ireland. And if Everton can keep Jo, Saha and Yakubu fit then they'll be up there challenging too.

Former Everton winger Ronny Goodlass believes Blues boss David Moyes can improve Phillippe Senderos as a defender if the Swiss joins the club.

Everton are in talks with Arsenal about bringing the 24-year-old Switzerland international to Goodison Park.

"Senderos wants to be in the Swiss team and there is a World Cup next year," Goodlass told BBC Radio Merseyside.

"David Moyes can hopefully improve his career like he has done with Phil Jagielka and Joleon Lescott."

Goddlass feels a move to Merseyside for Senderos would suit both the club and the player.

"I think when you're at that stage in your career and at that age - you need regular football," continued Goodlass.

Good luck with that.

This wise old kung-fu master (one that helped Marcus walk the true path) told me that Celtic will be in this seasons Champions League group stage..

Lol i did out loud and said "You been hanging around with that drunken ninja too much you old fool!"

The old wise kung-fu master also did a loud lol as his pointy white chin hair tail was in my tea.. :bawling:

Novo 10-08-2009 12:17 AM

What did you do to him sir andyman?

andyman 10-08-2009 12:25 AM

Nothing, i was told never mess with a wise old kung-fu master in the hills of chi ling-lo..

Novo 10-08-2009 12:26 AM

You should have showed him the ways of the brotherhood sir andyman

andyman 10-08-2009 12:45 AM

The Brotherhood is a force of good, he knew this.. Hence why i did nothing.

The old drunken ninja is the one to watch out for.. He moves in the shadows and lives in the night!

But the wise old kung-fu master moves on a nice happy cloud..
We support him and he supports us..

Kung-fu master is old and wise, to know how wise would explode a normal human brain, and nobody knows how old he is.. Hmmmm.

I could travel to the deep forest of Li chong su near the river of song li to find out his age.. Fk it.

Jayson 10-08-2009 01:54 AM

Andy, the game doesn't start until 10th September, which is after all the other games will be closed

And most of the people that apply will get in, because I'm only expecting about 16, and I need 15

Heard about that the other day

Russian club Zenit St Petersburg have sacked coach Dick Advocaat following a run of disappointing results.

Zenit suggested that the 61-year-old's decision to become Belgium coach at the end of the season may have contributed to the side's recent poor run of form.

"The club's leadership and board of directors have decided to dismiss Dick Advocaat," read a statement.

Advocaat took over in 2006 and led Zenit to Uefa Cup glory in 2008 with a 2-0 win over his former club Rangers.

The Zenit statement continued: "Dick Advocaat has done a lot for the team and his name will forever be associated with the success Zenit has achieved over the past few seasons.

"Under his leadership, many new glorious pages in Zenit's history have been written and fans will never forget the title-winning season of 2007 and the team's magnificent performance in Europe in 2008.

Reason Arsenal fans like chelsea is because Chelsea are more likable than Man Utd and Liverpool (=

Rivals or not, i prefer a club closer to home to win as well.

Worst 2 teams are..
Liverpoool
Tottenham
