World Cup Related:
BBC1- 12.8m average (16.3m peak) ITV- 2.9m average (3.7m peak) Overall= 15.7m (60.7%), PEAK OF 20m (66.2%) Last nights BB would have been thrashed.... more to come.... Officials to be released later, which should be quiote high with a few 3m+. |
why are the evictions rating low??? 2 great shows. for bb10 both shows on the fourth official eviction had 2.6m
|
they arent bad ratings just with not much competition as you said and new housemates im sure it would of got more. but that 2.64 will go over 3.0m and you never kno about the other one it could scrape 3.0m

We have the full weekend now: Friday(1)- 2.64m (which will go 3m+) Friday(2)- 2.44m Saturday- 2.0m Sunday- 2.0m Great for last night at 2m, against the WORLD CUP FINAL EXTRA TIME! Friday News Channels dominated and took ratings from all shows, 1m watched Moat's capture and suicide on Sky News, 9 out of 10 of the news channels were at the top... must have had a combined audience of 2.5m+ taking viewers from most shows. |
well maybe bb ratings will increase, with the world cup over =)

I would much rather watch BB than someone commiting suicide on tv

Latest officials-
Monday 28th June: 2.7m Tuesday 29th June: 2.8m Wednesday 30th June: 3.2m (Hat-Gate Tantrum) Thursday 1st July: 2.8m Friday 2nd July, Show 1: 2.7m Friday 2nd July, Show 2: 2.7m (Sunshine's Eviction Interview + Ben's Comedy) Saturday 3rd July: 2.5m Sunday 4th July: 3.2m (Ben/Dave gets punished) Pretty good officials there. That's a current series average of 2.9m. Weds and Sundays did fantastically! :D But seems the evictions are the ones dragging them down. |
Not bad.
|
It makes me wonder how many viewers this series would be getting if it wasn't billed as the final series, it would probably be getting 1m less than what it is.

Which now with the WC over, will be easier to acchieve but the slots are not helping eg. 8pm, WC Final etc...., tonight is on from 10:30pm-11:40pm, but is the last stupid slot :) |
22:30 - Big Brother 2.1m 14.7%
2nd in its slot, only 200,000 behind the top slot (BBC1) "Who do you think you are" which got 2.3m at 10:30pm(normally gets 5m+), it thrashed the ITV film which got 900,000 viewers. Finally the horrible slots are finished, I mean Im suprised that over 2m actually watched a show that finished at 11:40pm. Now we have 10pm and 9pm slots back, thank **** for that. Big share for BB too obviously because of the slot. |
thats great =) and considering the time it wouldn't of received many +1 viewers as well.
|
It allways annoys me that BB cant have a regular time slot like any other normal show. Im sure back in the day it was allways on at 9?

But the officials are good...
Monday: 2.7 million (2.2 million overnight) Tuesday: 2.9 million (2.4 million overnight) Wednesday: 3.2 million (2.9 million overnight) Thursday: 2.8 million (2.4 million overnight) Friday #1: 2.7 million (2.3 million overnight) Friday #2: 2.7 million (2.5 million overnight) Saturday: 2.5 million (2.1 million overnight) Sunday: 3.2 million (2.9 million overnight) The ovenrights which get lower ratings add around half a million so it all looks good. Weds and Sunday did brilliantly and Monday and Tueaday both added half a million to the overnights. |

Half hour shows again would suck. To much footage to fit into half hour we wouldnt get to see hardly anything |
