Alesha Dixon has revealed that she is a fan of X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd.

The singer, who rapped as part of girlband Mis-Teeq, said that she is pleased a female artist is bringing rap into mainstream music.

"I think she is really talented It's brilliant they have someone on the show who is rapping as well as singing," she told the Daily Record.

"I mean, that's what's going on in the music business.

"I actually met her recently and I told her to stick to doing what she loves and be true to herself. I hope she does really well."

Cher Lloyd has confessed that she doesn't expect to win The X Factor.

Speaking at today's press conference, the 17-year-old admitted that she didn't realise there was a "hate campaign" against her.

Lloyd added that she believes she will be the first finalist to leave the competition this weekend but explained that she feels "lucky" to have made it so far.

Aww at least she's honest about it:).

Exactly the way some go on calling her a gypo, chav, vile etc it's as if she killed someone for just appearing on a TV show:rolleyes:, if people criticise Cher constructively then fine but when some verge on personal insults etc then they are hypocrites for calling her those names:sleep:.

Cher's duet song with Will.I.Am is apparently the song he sung with Nicki Minaj- Check It Out.

I thought her duet song was gonna be "3 Words" but I've heard it could be either that now, or the "Check It Out". I'd prefer her to do "3 Words" tbh, it'll show off her voice more.
