Arsenal need to get 3 goals! Man Utd will attack due to the away goal rule, plus Arsenal don't seem to be as sharp and quick on the counter like 5 years ago.

Yep aint over yet but Arsenal need goals, ok they got 4 against Liverpool but that was down to both teams playing it open, i doubt Man Utd will be that open but they will try and gain few away goals..

But then i can see Arsenal wanting that goal bad late in the 2nd half, but then get caught out on the counter, away goal for United!

Or maybe Arsenal get a goal in the first half, 1-1, late 2nd half Arsenal going for that win, that late goal.. But get caught out by the counter..

Arsenal failing to score tonight has not made it easy for them.
Yes its made it hard but i can see Both teams playing to cautiously.. and no gols until late and i reckon Arsenal could get 1 near the end, and it go on to penalties..

Tottenham are safe.. Plus you have the real england manager! He should have got the job!

Yeah last week was shocking, 2-0 up and still lost!

Just don't want vile Scum Utd to win the Cup!! :bored:

30stone 29-04-2009 10:08 PM

Same as.

Messi was not as godlike as everyone says in that match lol, he was average at best.

Chelsea will come out all guns blazing and surprise barca.

andyman 29-04-2009 10:12 PM

But Chelsea don't have that away goal.. Could cost them, you must score away!

Locke. 29-04-2009 10:12 PM

Arsenal looked very weak tonight, Gibbs had a good game though.

And Man Utd will almost certainly score in the second leg, so Arsenal's forwards need to do their best.

30stone 29-04-2009 10:16 PM

Van Persie will be back to fire at least 1 in.

We can keep em from scoring clichy will be back.

And yes chelsea havent scored but they can come out attacking against barca who dont have their best centre dfeence both the first team centre defenders are suspended.

Newcastle are down and out, i wish that was a lie but it's the truth.

andyman 30-04-2009 07:58 PM

Hull and Sunderland are above Newcastle, they will work their boots off to keep it that way..

Best Newcastle can do is finish 3rd from bottom.
Best Reading can do is play in the play-offs but fail to win.
