I listened to the first 2ish minutes of each, and was only impressed by the second Black The Ripper video (which was pretty good). And it doesn't matter how lyrical you are if it doesn't sound good. British accents rarely go well with rap, and the beats UK rappers generally go for are more grime than hip hop.
|
the problem is, to me atleast, that almost all UK rappers sound the same.

I probably prefer UK to US tbh. I dunno if that is because I can relate to them more due to them being English or if it is because most U.S hip hop is all the same these days. For me..
Old school U.S>>>>>U.K>>>>>U.S |
the worst is probably 99% of modern hip hop really

most of it is just crappy, guns, shooting people, my dick is bigger than your dick, drugs, ****

Modern hip hop >

Meek Milly will save us though.
Nothing to worry about guys. |
Modern Hip Hop is great, but 90s hip hop is better. 90's hip hop is probably the greatest thing ever.
Jay Electroinca is about to drop Act II this year or the next so that may change things. |

impossible to name a producer better than J Dilla

Giving Biggie/Ready To Die another chance. Really liking it.

Biggie's opening verse on Sucidal Thoughts might be the best ever

Great album. Friend Of Mine and Unbelievable are the only weak tracks, on a first listen.

Better late than never :suspect: :p

Wonder how this will turn out....cant wait to hear it now |
Can't wait.
Rumours of Kendrick featuring heavily on Detox. Though Kendrick will probably have 4 albums out and retired by the time that drops. |
