 pizza party!

Thanks for letting me play, unfortunately I couldn't participate much as I was banned for some of it and when I wasn't banned I felt like there were only a few members of the group who actually participated.

I think there are a few flaws with the format but that was to be expected for its first go :) So once it's been revamped or more time to develop, I think this could be great! :D

Vanessa 02-07-2014 06:25 PM

It's a great game and Kate is an amazing host.

Jay. 02-07-2014 06:26 PM

I agree, it was fun Kate! It was my first proper game too, I liked it :}

Marsh. 02-07-2014 06:26 PM

I enjoyed it too. Thanks Kate.

Vanessa 02-07-2014 06:27 PM

I'm off for a bit. I'll be back later. :)

Yeah I agree Hayden, when I planned it originally there were more twists and challenges etc, and I've had to faff about a lot cos I've got tons of stuff going on, but as a rehearsal it was ok. :)

Sorry I've left it late to post tonight, only just got in.

Bear with me...

The diary room, as you can see, is incredibly dark and hostile and is designed to make the housemate feel at home and comfortable enough to let their innermost evil thoughts out to the public at home.

To let the housemate into the diary room we agreed upon this nifty little piece of wall-art that can cover the 'button':

https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/s...H7AtA&usqp=CAE

The most important feature with a diary room is always the chair, so here's ours:

https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/s...L5wL-&usqp=CAE
It's a red chestefield chair that immediately reminds you of Victorian-era furnishings and a rich, opulent interior. We chose red because we thought it appropriate should a housemate be dripping with blood.

The walls surrounding the chair are covered in a black, brick 3D effect wallpaper that we've sourced, and we've allowed for 5 rolls in the budget just to make sure the entire room is finished.

https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/s...9PWoE&usqp=CAE

And in terms of lighting, we opted for another over-the-top, dramatic fixture: this black, candle-effect chandelier.

https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/s...hVPn2&usqp=CAY

The floor shall be covered in a number of black leather rugs stitched together by one of the handy builders on standby. These rugs - again, five are accounted for to make sure the entire surface is covered - look like this:

And finally, every diary room needs something that commands the viewer's attention, and this year we opted for an ominous stag head behind the chair.

http://ab.weimgs.com/weimgs/ab/image...049/img90c.jpg

The stag, if you're familiar with the works of Hannibal, is associated with bad omens, and particularly those of violence and murder, so we feel this just makes the diary room all the more delightfully scary.

Our Budget, with URLs for the Products

the red chesterfield chair: £380.07
5 rolls of that black brick wallpaper: £86
the chandelier: £178
4 of those black leather rugs put together: £79.96
the stag sculpture on the wall behind the chair: £57.70
and the raven wall-art button: £7.18

= £789.11

.

Looking Good!

Team 1?????

For our diary room we have chosen this lovely lips chair. Our team thought it would be great, because it's fun and that's how we see the show. As you can see, Emma and Rylan have played a prank on Big Brother and he's not best pleased. :joker:
The chair itself isn't expensive. It only costs £ 249, but isn't it perfect? It would be great too see it on the show one day!

Team 3.... Your Time in the game is up. Thanks for playing (?:p)

Final task will be posted shortly and will be judged by a panel.

Remember you get 50 Tibbloons added for each blackball you've not used, both teams still have two each, this is your last chance if you want to boot someone out who's not worthy of an award should their team win? If anyone on the winning team hasn't contributed at all, I'd prefer not to award them, ok!

Just a reminder of how it stands ATM
