She's really lovely, been so unlucky with injuries the past few years, she was in a boot about 3 months ago with a broken foot and only qualified for these champs as the sole IAAF invite athlete when she ran 4 hundredths outside the qualifying standard on the final deadline day

Urgh I love Sophie so much. Them showing her crying.

Can honestly only see Mo medalling really. Some big performances will be needed heading into Tokyo!

Headie 07-08-2017 07:14 PM

Troy what's NBC's take on Semenya, do they drag her for being intersex or whatever because the BBC avoid the topic pretty much all the time until they were forced to address it after Lynsey Sharp's non-interview with Phil Jones in Rio

**** Tokyo, I want GB medallists at the world indoors in Birmingham in March next year!

Greg said he's gonna do the indoor season for once and try and win Gold on home soil :clap1:

Headie 07-08-2017 07:16 PM

Sophie :( My heart is breaking seeing her like that

BBC feeling sympathy for her when they caused this mess by putting so much pressure on her smh

Headie 07-08-2017 07:16 PM

Imagine feeling like **** already and then having to be non-interviewed by ****ing Phil Jones of all people

Headie 07-08-2017 07:18 PM

"Your best is certainly not right here and right now, it's to come"

Wow well done Phil sure she feels great xx

Headie 07-08-2017 07:19 PM

Gabby apologising to the audience on behalf of the BBC if viewers found Phil interviewing her in floods of tears insensitive omfg :joker: You can't make this up

Headie 07-08-2017 07:28 PM

I think NBC pretty much avoids it as much as they can? I honestly don't recall much of what happened last year, and I missed the first two and a half days of this year and they're still on my DVR so maybe I'll be proven wrong. I *do* distinctly remember last year where Shannon Rowbury had an interview with FloTrack or LetsRun about how Semenya being able to race threatens the integrity of women's sports while Brenda Martinez, who races Caster FAR more often, was just like "I'm looking forward to racing her bc I'll run a fast time  I like her, it's not her fault she's different" and Jenny Simpson was just like "lol having to race against Caster is different because everybody asks you about her :smug as **** smile:"

Headie 07-08-2017 07:35 PM

Umm the BBC literally just skipped the second semi final for the Men's 400 hurdles (featuring GB's Jack Green) so we could watch Paula Radcliffe recite some Iron Maiden lyrics in a dramatic Laura Muir VT???

Headie 07-08-2017 07:38 PM

Oh he flopped that's why they didn't show it

Macie Lightfoot 07-08-2017 07:45 PM

NBC randomly recruiting Sandi Morris to help cover men's pole vault tomorrow :joker:

Macie Lightfoot 07-08-2017 07:50 PM

Ato Bolden just told Sanya "HANDS UP AND KNEES UP" as she prepares for this final stretch of........ pregnancy.

Headie 07-08-2017 07:50 PM

Headie 07-08-2017 07:54 PM
