That's a pretty great top 9. I mean I wouldn't put Paul, Neda or Ika in my top 9 of BBCAN2 but I can see each of their appeal and didn't mind them / kinda liked them at times.

I keep rewatching clips and I can safely say Tim was the most annoying Houseguest last year

Not when the xenophobic brothers and douchecanoe Jared exist

As I didn't watch feeds in BBCAN2, having watched BBCAN5 its making me re-evaluate my thoughts. As Neda is such a mean spirited person, I don't think i could watch BBCAN2 ever again or root for the 'underdogs'

Jack_ 02-04-2017 11:09 PM

As an avid feeder in BB2 I can confirm Neda wasn't nasty at all, she was actually one of the only people (or girls, rather) who didn't join in with the mocking/ostracising of Heather

I've been reflecting on all this though...and I definitely think part of Neda's appeal (at least for me) back then must've been her alliance with the Sloppy Seconds. Obviously she's a great from a game perspective, but her being a part of one of the most rootable alliances of all time definitely has to play into why I liked her so much, because now she is literally destroying the season and aligning with monumentally boring people, she's not as rootable? I don't dislike her (yet), but I certainly am not really interested in just watching her steamroll the season if she's gonna make it boring to watch in the process.

So idk, I kinda think Neda's appeal was definitely helped by who she was aligning with

Yeah, I'd say that who people are and aren't aligned with in the house plays a great role in who I like and dislike. Take Kenny, for example. I adored him for a week or so, but he went way down in my estimations after aligning himself with Andrew and Arlie, by far two of the worst housemates of Big Brother Canada to date.

Jason. 02-04-2017 11:43 PM

As BB5 seems to be slowly going downhill, I might finish of BB4 and then watch BB1-3.

For sure! Which is weird cause in BBUK I actually find it kinda weird when people start disliking housemates that their favourites dislike, even if they liked them before? That sort of stuff doesn't affect my opinions, but I suppose cause this is a different format if you're not aligning with fun or ~good~ people, you're not really gonna make the season interesting

Side note: Arlie's great and gets paid so much dust on here :fist:

Finished already?

Big Brother 3
End of Season Ranking
  1. Jordan
  2. Kevin
  3. Sarah
  4. Godfrey
  5. Brittnee
  6. Johnny
  7. Sindy
  8. Willow
  9. Risha
  10. Zach
  11. Ashleigh
  12. Naeha
  13. Bruno
  14. Pilar
  15. Bobby
  16. Graig

I feel bad for putting Pilar with the likes of Bruno, Bobby and Graig as I'm sure she's popular on here, but her awful gameplay just couldn't make up for her personality... a little bit like Big Brother 2, I'm quite happy with how the season worked out, and probably my favourite final two thus far. A little bit frustrating at times however, in that people just seemed to conform to those in power.

What I have noticed about Big Brother Canada is that the public seem to vote the complete opposite way to how our public votes. It's nice to see them vote in favour of people like Sarah and Brittnee over the likes of Zach and Bruno. It's not something you'd see very often in our series.

LemonJam 07-04-2017 09:42 PM

^ Pilar is definitely not popular on here lol

Bobby hate will always elude me </3

Ashley. 09-04-2017 04:45 PM

I don't like Jared's voice.

DouglasS 09-04-2017 07:54 PM

Pilar is not loved here or anywhere lol. She lacked persoanlity and played no game - From what I've read on here, almost every single person was wanting her out and wishing she'd gone in week 1 so we didn't have to endure that terrible couples alliance and watch how stupid she was.

I'd guess she was the most disliked female from the cast of BBCAN3 in general - not for being malicious, for being such a non entitiy and lacking personality and playing other peoples games

reece(: 09-04-2017 08:07 PM

Pilar robbed Risha and was utterly tragic.

Thank goodness. :clap2:

"I nominate you, Brittnee, because I think you're the best pawn" was hilarious nonetheless.

Headie 09-04-2017 08:33 PM

People only kept Pilar Week 1 because she nominated 2 guys and people thought she'd target the alpha males

Risha was truly robbed!

Canada's ongoing hatred for alpha males through the public votes. :laugh2:

MB. 09-04-2017 09:30 PM

(apart from when they voted for Nick & Phil to be HoH and also to win the entire game)

I wouldn't really consider Nick and Phil to be "alpha males"; they were likeable until Canada voted for them to be Head of Household; the only other choice to win was Kelsey.

(But other than that I'm making no excuses for those awful, xenophobic arseholes etc.)

JerseyWins 10-04-2017 03:58 AM

People are still going on that Nick & Phil are xenophobic?

Even if they were against a non-Canadian winning BBCAN - which they weren't - is this really something for them to be hated for? (it's not like they bashed other countries/people from other countries or anything)

Jason. 10-04-2017 01:34 PM

From what I saw of BBCan4, them being xenophobic wasn't even the reason I disliked them. I don't think I even saw that actually as I'm sure that happened towards the end of the season and I had already stopped watching long before that but I just found their gameplay painful to watch with how paranoid and cowardly they were. I remember Demetres summing it up perfectly on the feeds last week that he didn't like the way they played too scared or something along the lines of that. Though that applies more to Phil if anything, I didn't really mind Nick iirc.
