Pretty sure the cast was chosen ages ago? I remember everyone being shocked that the cast was getting picked so long before the series.

I find the concept of the phones on Love Island quite intriguing (they're only connected to the other Islanders and not to the outside world). I think it would be quite interesting if Big Brother implemented something similar so the housemates can talk strategy - it'd be a subtle way of introducing the game to the show, plus they're just messages so it wouldn't dominate the highlights show.

But you don't discuss nominations in BBUK so what strategy is there to discuss?
