From what I've read, Dwight shows up in Fear The Walking Dead.

Nicky91 14-02-2019 01:15 PM

nice episode

Negan just going back to his cell
Spoiler:

i cannot see that being the end of him, maybe when Michonne leaves or something happens and Judith lets him out to fight along with Alexandria/Hilltop/Kingdom/Oceanside against those whisperers

Negan & Judith friendship i stan

Niamh. 14-02-2019 01:17 PM

Really good episode. Judith is by far the best "Grimes" probably because she's actually Shanes kid though tbf :idc:

Nicky91 14-02-2019 01:25 PM

Daryl & Dog such a lovely duo

Magna's group i quite like how they fit in really well into the community :hee:

the ending, the lady with shotgun
Spoiler:

that is Alpha, whisperers leader and mother of Lydia the girl they captured

Niamh. 14-02-2019 01:28 PM

Oh also, do we all think that Daryl and Henry were doing a good cop/bad cop number on Lydia?

Henry was being sincere towards Lydia i think, but Daryl knew he would be able to get through to her into saying her name

but basically all the rules of herds don't really count anymore
Spoiler:

in the walking dead telltale video game we already heard from a former whisperers member named James, that the walkers they see them as the dead but still with a soul inside them, this was proven via our character clementine in a shed with walkers, she rang some music bells and the walkers were calm and listening to the music, so that makes you think of walkers who had been people with lives before all this, and not just monsters with rotten flesh, James also said he left the whisperers group bc he didn't agree with their motives about using the walkers as an army against the living but he wanted to live in peace with the walkers somewhere quiet

Niamh. 14-02-2019 01:39 PM

I'm not opening that spoiler Nicky.

I think it was a plan between Henry and Daryl

Oop I might have to watch again.

Is anyone on here still watching FTWD? I haven't seen since the end of season 3 but saw a spoiler that

Spoiler:

Madison dies. So I can't see it still being any good? :suspect:

Babayaro. 14-02-2019 10:41 PM

Alden and/or Luke are dying which is a shame since they're two of the most likeable characters left :(

Josy 18-02-2019 06:32 PM

What's all the 'after rick' stuff that Daryl and michone keep hinting about? I'm guessing it involves the scars they both have

MattySlug 20-02-2019 08:49 AM

Mama Rose and THE RABBIT started watching this a fortnight ago.
They are up to Start of Season 6 now already!!!

Nicky91 20-02-2019 08:49 AM

Alpha is such a psychopatic villain

making her own daughter think she was to blame for her father's death

i ship Lydia & Henry anyway

for those interested, the whisperers second in command will be played by the same actor who played Opie in Sons of Anarchy

Spoiler:

Madison and Nick both died, the only original cast members left (currently) are Strand and Alicia... though its been rumoured that Daniel Salazar might show up again next season, he wasn't in (or even mentioned in) the most recent season.

It otherwise has a tonne of new cast members; Morgan (from TWD), Al (Shannon from Lost), John Dory (Gunslinger type feller), a woman called June, and a like 12 year old girl whose name I can't remember. And they were joined by a couple of newbies towards the end of the season; a trucker lady, a guy in a wheelchair, and a guy who makes craft beer.

To be honest they practically rebooted it... It feels like a totally new TWD spin-off that happens to have Morgan, Alicia and Strand in it. It's even set in a totally different place (southern / middle America, rather than being mainly based in California and Mexico). It has a fairly strong Western vibe (even the opening credits / music are different and have that vibe).

I actually really enjoyed the season though... More than the earlier seasons for the mostpart. And more than a lot of TWD. Morgan gets a ln absolute boatload of character development, as does Alicia, which neither really got previously. So it's like a new show but I personally think a pretty good one :joker:.

Though they have brought over the "various ninjas!" concept from TWD with signature weapons etc... Like Morgan is still "stick ninja", John Dory is a cowboy style "revolvers ninja", Alicia is "Assault rifle ninja", Al is... Err... "Massive armoured truck with mounted machine guns ninja".

ALSO re: Madison it is made quite explicit that she's dead and explained how she died. She's in the season via flashbacks but you DON'T see the death and you never see a body. So y'know. Pinch of salt there.

Babayaro. 21-02-2019 05:33 PM

I've always been tempted to start watching FTWD again. I think I stopped watching after Chris died (season 2?) And I remember being mildly annoyed reading about Travis' death too lmao.

Lostie! 17-03-2019 12:56 PM

Just caught up on the back half of this season and I'll repeat what I said about the first half, this season is such a return to form. Angela Kang has done a brilliant job of pulling it back from the days of seasons 7 and 8 :clap1:

Alpha and Beta (and the Whisperers as a whole) are such cool villains, and I actually like Daryl and Tara these days after waiting for them to die for years

Babayaro. 19-03-2019 11:51 AM

Michonne slicing up the sprogs :clap1:

Spoiler:

I don't have the 'confirmed' pike list but TSDF have confirmed three very likely deaths: Henry, Enid, and Tara :(

Also likely:
-Tammy Rose
-Kelly
-Diane

so like...literally Henry is the only guy that seems to be dying so far lmao. Apparently Gabe/Rosita/Siddiq/Eugene are all safe (which is surprising given the fact like... a death that square woud give it more story. cull gabe!)

Ezekiel, Jerry, Michonne, Daryl, Carol, Negan and Judith are also considered 'safe'

It honestly feels like Tara's death is just. there for the sake of it. Literally only Rosita could mourn her and that's a stretch bc for all we know they've had minimal interaction for years. And the Hilltoppers are also gonna be like "damn RIP Enid :( we really need to stop getting doctors or we're just gonna keep losing them :("
