If I dislike a HM8 who just happens to be non white Im called a racist, its nothing to do with this HM8 being an arrogant nasty prat I only dislike them because they are not white this doesn't happen sometimes,it happens all the time if I even make a comment about a non white HM8 ( it could even be a person I like ) out comes the racist banner, its rife on here so please don't make out it doesn't happen because it does EVERY series

To be fair we're talking about the SD forum specifically here, aren't we? We all know that the on-season and Chat+Games forums are cesspits. On all topics. That's just a given.

That said, I absolutely despised Gina in the Dexter/Gina/Hazel et al year and was pretty vocal about it, and have to say I was never accused of racism for it. Maybe it's gotten worse in recent years? I dunno. I don't really watch the civilian series any more.

As there is no longer an appeals section, I'm not surprised that people want to discuss their infractions because God know, a mod will never PM you back despite the fact this is said every time this subject comes up. It is a waste of time to expect a mod to reply.

I already understand how the system works. You have a long list of rules that could be condensed down to ten bullet points, and those rules are interpreted differently by each mod. None of the mods are trained or paid, they are just randoms like the rest of us with no extra skills, only their own interpretation of the rules. And no one moderates the moderators.

I can't speak for the other Mods but I pretty much reply to all PMs unless they get abusive

I can assure you that no one has ever replied to me, and speaking to other people, I know I'm not alone.

Well thats just not true livia, mods do reply to plenty messages about infractions and any other queries, im sure plenty of members can confirm this I've done so many many times as have all the mods and its posted about in admin plenty.

No none of us are paid but we do have plenty of experience and skills moderating this forum (and others) and dealing with a massive amount of other things that pop up many that none of you are even aware of.

The rules are there as a guideline but for most things nothing can be set in absolute stone due to the different scenarios and rule breaks on here, the same goes for infractions and bans, mods do at times use thier own discretion but all of us see any infractions and bans that are given out which also adds to my next point about no one moderating the mods, again nothing is done without all of us seeing it, theres a thread automatically generated for every single warning or infraction that is given out and many of those threads have large discussions in them some resulting in infractions and bans being reversed.

Theres also a shortened version of the rules if its a big deal for you to read the ling version.

In all honesty, you say you know how the system works then go on to post things that are simply not true.

I think the mods on here do a great job and get little to no thanks for it, most of the time they get nothing but **** and most complaints tbqh are from people that break a rule but cant handle the consequences of it.

What's your secret? I can't get them to STOP PMing me, if anything I feel harassed! Mostly they PM just for moderating advice, like "Hey TS sorry to bother you again but I'm not sure what to do about this post?" and I tell them what to do. Every now and then, I'll get one of them to infract me or delete a couple of my posts just for appearances sake but for the mostpart it's a system that works well... I'm just getting sick of these "Your PM box is 92% full!" notifications.
