Received votes so far from Niamh, Black Dagger, Mitchell, Denver, Calderyon, Tony Montana, MTVN, Jake, James, Strictly Jake, Cherie, AnnieK and Smithy! If you aren't named here, I'm waiting :oh:

I'll be busy for the rest of this week (with early mornings :bawling: the horror), so I won't be able to stay up as late as I have been doing for previous rounds... if there's a delay then I apologise but I don't chain myself to my laptop :worry:

Liam- 01-09-2020 03:12 PM

Don’t think I’ll do well this round, I don’t do movies so have no idea what was popular and what wasn’t

10. Name a film starring Sean Penn

For the Pointless round: all "name a film..." questions must be cinema (or Netflix/Amazon) releases; no straight to DVD nonsense thank you! For #4, the type of animal can be singular or plural, so go wild with that one. In the likely event that Amy Adams happens to also be the name of a less famous actress, I am specifically asking for the famous one  For #7, I want a full name that he is credited for in the film... no "cameo" appearances or extra work before he was famous, thanks! For #9, any film that won Best Picture at the Oscars between 1980 and 1989 is eligible; I know the winner in 1990 will have been released in the 80s but it's still a 90s ceremony.

I'm confused at the bit in red regarding Amy Adams

It means he's only looking for films that star Amy Adams, the member of the New Zealand Parliament

Babayaro. 01-09-2020 03:49 PM

I understand now

Babayaro. 01-09-2020 08:33 PM

will do it in the next few hours :spin2:

Rob! 01-09-2020 10:08 PM

Omg I forgot - Bare with!

Babayaro. 01-09-2020 10:17 PM

Cal. 01-09-2020 10:29 PM

So sorry about that Shaun. I completely forgot.

Rob! 01-09-2020 10:33 PM

Urgh HORRENDOUS round. Film is an awful topic for me. I'd never even heard of Amy Adams and was just as clueless after I googled her :laugh2:
