Humans really are the most vile species in the whole universe. To hate someone because they're not what they themselves are is pure madness.

I come from London and still work there sometimes. I can't say I've seen that many wearing yarmulkas... but it's good to hear. And yes, brave. You've only got to read some of the hate on this thread to know some of the kind of people they'll be facing.

I totally agree. The denials and ‘but what about’ reactions to the evil brutality carried out by the monstrous Hamas has disgusted and repulsed me beyond measure.

police in Paris have clashed with attendees of a pro-Palestinian rally.

France announced a ban on such demonstrations earlier, claiming they were "likely to generate disturbances to public order". Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin has threatened to deport foreign nationals who break the rules.

France has a Jewish community of about 500,000 people, and there are around 5 million Muslims in the country.

Darmanin told French radio that 100 antisemitic acts had been recorded since the Hamas attack on southern Israel - most involving graffiti showing "swastikas, 'death to Jews,' and calls to intifadas against Israel".

In a separate move, Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz declared "zero tolerance" for antisemitism.

He told parliament a pro-Palestinian group that had celebrated the murders of Israeli civilians on Saturday would be banned.

Berlin police have also banned planned pro-Palestinian demonstrations, citing the risk of antisemitic statements and glorification of violence.

Folks still pretending absolutely nothing was happening prior to the attacks. Every absolutely barbaric act carried out by Hamas over the last few days, has been handed out a hundredfold to the Palestinians.

Three Jewish schools in north London are closing their doors "in the interests of the safety of our precious children".

Torah Vodaas Primary School in Edgware, Ateres Beis Yaakov Primary School in Colindale, and Menorah High School in Neasden, informed parents on Thursday evening they would not reopen until Monday.

In a letter to parents, Rabbi Feldman, of Torah Vodaas, said while there was "no specific threat to our school" it was "not a decision that has been taken lightly".

It comes as Jewish students were being warned by schools to disguise their uniform because of a fear of retaliatory attacks caused by the ongoing war in Israel.

Thousands of Israelis and Palestinians have been killed in a war ignited by a bloody and wide-ranging Hamas attack on Israel at the weekend.

One Jewish charity said it had seen a 324% increase in reports of antisemitism as a result over the last four days. This included six assaults, 14 direct threats, three instances of vandalism, and 66 cases of abusive behaviour, according to CST.

We have received 89 reports of antisemitism in the last 4 days.

The Daily Telegraph posted the front page to its account on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday night. It said the images, first shared by Israel's account on the site, would be published inside its Friday morning edition.
