Glad Phoebe is sticking around, good actress. The cast is overdue for a culling though. I'd axe Will and Rob personally, don't see the point in either of them.
Would be funny for Cheryl to get a toyboy (Barney - she's spent the night with him once already and I think the comedy potential would be endless) |

Hollyoaks star Karen Hassan has admitted that there could be "complicated" times ahead for her character Lynsey Nolan as she starts flirting with Riley Costello.
Lynsey and Riley's (Rob Norbury) storyline kicks off next month as sparks begin to fly between the pair. The plot may give Lynsey a chance to have some fun following her sinister ordeal with serial killer Silas Blissett last year. However, as Lynsey has recently become friends with Riley's jilted ex-fiancée Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe), she could also find herself with divided loyalties. Hassan told All About Soap: "I'd have liked Lynsey to stay dark and never fully recover from what Silas did, but she's back to being Miss Goody-two-shoes. "Although I do like flirty Lynsey, which we're seeing a lot more of now with Riley - there's a real sexual attraction between them. "But Lynsey is also friends with Mercedes, so she's going to have to support Mercy while having a secret relationship with Riley - it could get complicated!" |

Hollyoaks bosses have today confirmed that former EastEnders series story producer Kathleen Beedles is joining the soap's creative team.
Beedles has landed the position of story consultant at the Channel 4 show and began work at the programme's base in Liverpool yesterday (March 26). The appointment comes as part of a handful of behind-the-scenes changes at Hollyoaks. Beedles has been heading up the storyline team at EastEnders for over a year, but departed her Walford role earlier this month. She also worked as Emmerdale's series producer between 2005 and 2008, which was one of the ITV1 show's most successful eras. Meanwhile, Digital Spy can also confirm that Gareth Lemon has returned to Hollyoaks as script producer after more than two years as senior script editor at Coronation Street. He previously worked in the script department at Hollyoaks between 2003 and 2009. Finally, Hollyoaks' script editor Kate Hall has been promoted to the post of series editor. |

''No return for Silas - just mentions of him re other people's lives... just exploring the impact he had on some people". |
