Lady Gaga is rumored to be in talks with Linda Farrow about creating a line of sunglasses. Farrow does shades for labels like Alexander Wang and The Row. Gaga has said she wants to launch a fashion line of her own "at some point." Is it strange that she's signed deals to do stuff with Polaroid and have her own headphones, but nothing apparel-wise yet? Perhaps not. As much as we've always wanted sunglasses we could smoke, we'd actually be more interested in a line of Lady Gaga fishing vests.

Lady Gaga has held on at the top of the UK singles chart but her album has been knocked off number one by the return of Boyzone's tribute album, Brother.

Boyzone's album returned to the top following a television tribute to Stephen Gately.

Lady Gaga's Telephone, which features Beyonce, held on to number one for a second week in a week that saw just a single new entry in the top 40.

THERE'S nothing ladylike about the way LADY GAGA celebrates her birthday.

The Telephone star, who is touring in Australia, made sure she only chose bars that pong like a public lav to sink a few as she turned 24 yesterday.

"I just find the nearest bar that smells like urine and get very drunk," she said.

"It's all I ever want to do on my birthday."

Asked about her gift wishlist for occasion, the outrageous singer gave a much duller answer.

"My perfect gift would just be continued inspiration for my third album. I've already written the core of it and it's already my best work to date."

Lady Gaga has never cried harder than she did when she watched a video her fans made to celebrate her birthday.

The singer turned 24 yesterday and was overwhelmed by the number of fans who took time to send her special birthday messages. One group even created a nine-minute video that featured congratulations from hundreds of fans, leaving the singer sobbing.

“I’ve never cried so hard in 24 years, from pure joy and unconditional love. Tears still streaming,” Gaga wrote on her Twitter page.

“Thank you so much for all the beautiful birthday messages, videos, and gifts. The greatest present I've been given this year is you I love u.

“i dont know what I did to deserve the gift of you and all my fans. But God made you little monsters very special. U are my heart (sic).”

Minutes later, Gaga posted another message, declaring herself speechless over the love she had been shown. She thanked all her fans again, before signing off the social networking site for the evening.

&i don't believe she's recorded any music yet, but she's wrote most of the album! I'm so anxious to hear it and what the new sound will be.
