I think US politics is largely a fancy-dress party so in terms of global politics I don't really care who wins in November... Or rather... I wouldnt care... But if Trump does win, Alf is going to be absolutely insufferable. I'm not sure TiBB can take it.

Regardless of what you may think of him, we know what we're getting with Trump. We dont with the other candidates unless its Michelle Obama etc. There isnt enough instant name recognition to get anyone to the level needed and progressives wont vote for someone, anyone, to defeat Trump. As for ending term limits - why bother? It would be a concern if he was a 50 year old man, sure. As it stands, by the time he's due to leave his 2nd term he'll be well into his early 80's. He can end persidential term limits all he wants, I don't think basic biology or the Grim Reaper are particularly interested din his legislation changes. He might squeeze in a few extra years if he's lucky? Like I know people deify Trump etc but... let's engage in some realism here. He's 78. Statistically speaking, in less than 10 years, he will no longer be a concern.
