Was a good ending for peggy.

Barbie 11-09-2010 03:14 PM

Once again Bryan gets it wrong, the build ups are good, then the ending isn't well executed, it felt so abrupt like Becca, suddenly she is throwing ashes at stacey then she is booted out the house and its over, within 5 minutes

Totally agree, it's like the Lucas finale, Bryan is good at day to day episodes...but not so good at the big ones, where as Deidrick was the opposite

i'd forgotten about Lucas and that storyline, lucas's exit and discovery wasnt that bad, but having Libby say im never leaving you again, then in the next episode her and Chelsea are off to spain and are never to be seen again was a really bad exit

Scarlett. 11-09-2010 10:06 PM

Aye, I hope Bryan Kirkwood starts improving on the finales a bit

Jords 12-09-2010 04:27 PM

Just seen Friday's episode, was really good and Peggy's theme was great!

Firewire 12-09-2010 04:34 PM

I totally agree, Bryan can pull-off build-ups, but no finales.

Diederick could do finales, like Xmas 10 and Live Episode.

To be honest, the ending worked as an end for the whole show, as it was ending. Well, that's what it felt like.

Firewire 12-09-2010 04:40 PM

If I was writing it, I'd probably have Peggy go back for Phil and he awakes and locks her in the living room and escapes before the Vic blowing up.

seanraff07 12-09-2010 04:42 PM

Aw i thought Peggy was just going away for a break.. is she actually gone for good?

Rob 12-09-2010 04:43 PM

yes

bbfan1991 12-09-2010 04:53 PM

Didn't see Friday EE so just watched it on the omnibus and I got emotional at the end when Peggy was walking:(, all the tears must have flowed naturally when they filmed it.

Hope Babs returns in a couple of years and that she enjoys her well deserved break:hugesmile:.

What is it with EastEnders and baby story-lines?

We had Heather dropping one and it was a 'who's the daddy?'
We had Roxy dropping one and it was a 'who's the daddy?'
We had Stacey dropping one and it was a 'who's the daddy?'
We had Sam dropping one and it was a 'who's the daddy?'

Now Ronnie is pregnant & I'm sure they will come up with a similar plot.

Says you!

*phones them back up*

Omg it Callum. :o

But seriously, I find it so unrealistic that Jack is having/has a baby with each of the Mitchell girls, blehhh. I dont find it funny or anything, just stupid.

Stacey. 14-09-2010 07:00 PM

I think Sam's baby's dad will be Minty.

Visage 15-09-2010 03:05 PM

I have a feeling Jack isn't the father of Ronnie's baby.

She is pregnant right ? You never know with Ronnie if it's all in her head.

According to this thread Emma Rigby who played Hannah Ashworth in Hollyoaks might join Eastenders to play the new Lucy Beale, hope this is true:):D.

To quote Jeremy Kyle, Jack needs to learn to put something on the end of it

bbfan1991 16-09-2010 10:20 PM

Kim is hilarious:laugh2:, laughed when Charlie got an eyeful of her cleavage, calling Patrick pops and getting Winston to put money in the collection.

I've always liked Shirley but now she's been given a real chance to shine:).
