I think it's just a case of when there's 100 grand at stake and they've set the rules out so clearly they are legally bound to stick by it. Otherwise someone could have second thoughts after voting and then claim they meant to vote differently etc. which could land them in all sorts of legal trouble.
When they returned after the impromptu commercial break and announced that they had to hold Topaz to her original vote it was the only time in the whole season i 'wooted' out loud (several times!!!) with sheer joy and amusement. |
-_- just watched the ending, ugh stupid topaz.....
in my eyes Gary is the true winner and i think he did deserve it more. |
So Canada now has their own version of Marcellous (BB3)
|
I bet there was some major squirming going on at the BB Canada studios last night. I hope someone uploads the BB winner's interview thingy they have on the following morning's breakfast show or whatever.
Does anyone know which show that's on or if those kind of interviews get uploaded anywhere ? |
Topaz is such a ********** moron. Perfect ending for a rigged season. Won't be watching this trash again.

Jillian winning :bored:
So close Gary  |
OMFG, Topaz' vote :joker:
Oh dear. |
Lmfao, what the **** happened.
Jillian deserved to win, I liked Gary more as a housemate but he was evicted and Jillian was a comp queen and played a good game. |

Well at least there were a couple of twists at the end.
First Gary winning the last competition. Really didn't want him to win, but at least somebody finally made a move against Emmitt. Unfortunately we later had to hear the Gary sob story. I really wish Talla had got to the end rather than him, she was much more naturally funny. Then the whole controversy at the end was a nice surprise. Peter obviously bitter, how was it justice that Gary should win? Andrew though voted better, still think he was one of the better HGs. The camerawork wasn't great. When the votes and comments were made, and during the whole controversy at the end we should have seen the reactions of the final two to everything. We didn't and that annoyed me. And of course the moment when the winner is announced the focus is meant to be on the final 2 in the house. Also inevitably in this format so much of this is scripted. The jury house discussion sounded like they had planted questions, and then when they spoke to the camera and voted it looked all rehearsed. Big Brother is better when things are more off the cuff and that links to the live aspect which should be the cornerstone of it. That's what made the Topaz controversy refreshing, it looked like it wasn't scripted. The host handled it alright too. It looked like Topaz just picked it up and put it straight it without really looking, maybe the excitement got to her. |

Yeah, i got sick to the back teeth of Gary's "oh poor me, boo-hoo sniffle" hard luck story!!!
Telling people your story in the house is one thing but pulling it out like a party trick complete with fake crying to try and gain sympathy votes is really insulting and offensive to other people who've been through the same thing and often far worse! One minute he's saying how proud he is to be gay and super-confident and who he is and the next he's acting like he's the only gay guy in Canada and the only person who's ever had a hard time in school. There's plenty of kids who aren't gay who get bullied just as bad for a multitude of reasons! Look at the sh*t that fat kids have had to put up with since forever!!! I'd have liked to have seen more close-ups of the jury member's faces and reactions when the whole Toe-**** incident went down. Would have been priceless i bet! The only people's reactions i could see from a distance were Emmett, Talla and Andrew's which were hysterical, especially when they returned after the emergency break and Arissa played the evidential Topaz voting footage and stated that her vote would stand as was! . Emmett was punching the air with joy, Talla was bouncing up and down on her seat like an excited......uhhh..Talla and Andrew was unable to contain his laughter!!! Loved it to bits! :joker: When i re-watched it it occurred to me that i 'think' Topaz and co (aka. the bitter spite loser crew) were thinking that they were holding her to her actual vote because it didn't effect the overall outcome because Gary still had the votes to win (i think they maybe thought that Andrew had also voted for Gary) because they looked shocked again when Andrew's deciding vote was announced. I loved the whole episode even more the second time because i couldn't help chuckling to myself when the bitter spite loser crew were being so smug and hating on Jillian while i knew what was about to happen! Probably the quickest and most satisfying example of Karmic Retribution i've ever witnessed!!! A true classic that you couldn't have written any better!  |
Oh my god... Is all I have to say.
What a massive ******* up. Topaz you're an idiot :bored: Gary did all that hard work just for her to mess it up |
LOL C'mon guys it would have been a mockery of the show if Gary won, it would be a piss take
he was evicted, brought back at final 5 (what a joke) the limit should be being brought back at the beginning of Jury, this meant he got to have chats with the jury/become friends/see where their heads were at/release confidential things about the others etc So glad Jillian won! and Emmett was evicted for the first time, a woman has beat the guy in f2 and it was so justice to see bitter alec and peter, lose AGAIN, they are pathetic, and got played I've enjoyed the series, and live feeds, now roll on big brother us |
You're observations are spot-on Munchkins!
|
Tbh it's fair to not just assume but guarantee that Topaz was always going to vote Gary no matter what.. but rules are rules! Jillian did win but she didn't actually win the jury majority which does make Gary the unofficial winner
I loved that Gary won final HoH and got rid of Emmett.. I was so thrilled and then I thought okay he deserves this win now, even if it was unfair that he came back. But in the past people have been bought back and not won because it makes their chances of winning even smaller so he did do well, granted it was F5 and not like F10 like in BBUS6 (Kaysar) or F8 in BBUS3 (Amy). |

I can't wait to see how they will orchestrate the finale next season
Probably like Survivor and have them write their winner on a piece of paper. |

Also, I've yet to see one of your "positive posts" your promised me. It's just been negative or hateful posts for the last few weeks. :nono: |
He's such a good person, taking it with a pinch of salt and remaining positive about it. |

Yeah, i did feel for poor Gary. He didn't deserve to have such an idiotic friend who couldn't differentiate between 'GARY' and 'JILLIAN'. None of last night's drama was down to him. It was all down to the bitter spite loser crew and their obsession with hating on Jillian for beating them. If Topaz hadn't been 150% wrapped up in being smug she probably would have been able to vote correctly! :nono: |
