Hooper is so much better then QPR, not complaining though i'm all for Celtic's strikeforce getting weaker and weaker
|
Palace would have been better of spending their money on Hooper instead of that Gayle bloke
|
can't believe Norwich didn't follow up their interest in him, he's the kind of guy that would get 10-15 goals a season in the Prem considering he was scoring 20+ a season in the SPL and Championship and bare in mind he was playing for a poor Scunthorpe team back then as well
|
Norwich went a step further and got someone even better in the end

Sky sources understand Wayne Rooney is unhappy at Manchester United and is looking to leave.
Sources close to Rooney claim the 27-year-old England international striker is "angry and confused" about his treatment by the club. All Moyes' doing. Absolutely stupid to basically say he's on trial. |
How can you blame Moyes? It was Fergie who rightfully called him out and exposed him leaving Moyes to have to unfortunately pick up the pieces.

Quote:
Fergie said he put in a transfer request, Rooney denies it. Ferguson was wrong to go public about it. As always, majority of United fans take Fergie's side. After all, that man is perfect. |
fifty five million for Cavani? Daft money.
|
The whole Rooney situation is a joke
Like I said many times Fergie should have called him out on his bull**** when he first did this routine a couple years back. It's great and all he did it in the end but he left Moyes to clean up the mess The only positive is Moyes calling it as it is. Wayne the last year and a half can barely control a ball nor make a 2 year pass yet thinks he is a main player on this team Moyes is doing a great job so far IMHO Did what SAF didn't have the balls to do and call Wayne out Has managed to convince our best winger to stay ( Another situation of MANY Fergie left in a mess) Has given ADAN game time on tour And the fact that Moyes can actually see our CM is fuken **** and ACTUALLY PUT A BID IN FOR A CM not seen for 4 years at OT |
Back when Rooney first handed in a transfer request a large amount of United fans wanted The Glazers out. Felt they were holding back money. Yet when Rooney calls them out on it, those fans then slaughter Rooney for having the EXACT same opinion as them.
Rooney still had a good campaign last season. Not up there with his best, but it was still a good one and better than most other players. If Rooney should be gotten rid of for one 'poor' season, as some fans call it, then Valencia, Young, Nani, Anderson and possibly Welbeck should all be sold. Wouldn't mind adding average Tom to that list either. We did make bids in the past for creative players, but we just didn't get them. Nasri was all but a done deal, Ozil chose Real, Sneijder... hmm, not entirely sure what happened and others. |

That said I have SAID many times some of this has to do with Fergie. When not stinking up the number 10 spot Shinji should have been in Fergie was using him as a winger one week then a CM the next. I am pretty sure given a fresh challenge with a Chelsea or Arsenal( not Barca or RM A. because he can barely speak English let alone learn another language B. has the touch of a rapist) he would reclaim his position as one of the best in the PL Valencia - You Know my thoughts on that bum Young - You know my thought on that bum Nani - One of the ONLY genuinely WC players we have Anderson - Fat Ando's time is up Welbeck - If we intend on playing him up top yes cause he couldn't hit a barn door behind striker HELL NO cause he is dam close WC at everything else Surprisingly I would actually give Young a fresh start this year. Moyes plays his wingers a lot more narrow then SAF and I actually think that would benefit Ashley. With this in mind and if we play RVP and KAG with him Nani will be hitting WC heights BOOKMARK THAT |
Kagawa was nothing special for the first half of the campaign. Granted, it was his first season and a new league to adjust to. It's just a lot are suddenly thinking he will be amazing, all of a sudden. I feel a lot must be basing that on his time at Dortmund, which isn't the greatest indication given England is a very different league.
Don't get me wrong, I like Kagawa. It's just, I don't see this confidence that Kagawa will suddenly be world class from the get go. Even despite, at times, having a crap touch, Rooney was still one of our better players last season. We are currently in a tough position. Missed out on Thiago (because we fart about) and Rooney looks to be all but gone. And we've brought nobody in to fix that embarrassing midfield, yet. Edit: I would rather see the back of that hunch back Marlo Stanfield. Sick of the sight of him. (Young) |

Not his fault he was shoved out onto the wing which he does play occasionally for Japan however he is actually allowed to move away from the touchline unlike in Fergie's system and it's not his fault that when he did play number 10 80% of the time we had tripe like Rooney ahead of him and Tony beside him Shinji is what a number 10 should be quick , nimple , great movement , great touch he does things that you couldn't make Wayne do on FIFA And although I blast the mess Fergie left we are a Modric and a Fellani away from being UP THERE. And unlike Fergie Moyes actually knows this as shown in his recent interview De Gea Raf Vidic Evans Evra Nani Carrick Fellaini Kagawa Modric RVP De Gea Raf Ferdinand Evans Evra Nani Carrick Modric Zaha Kagawa RVP De Gea Raf Vidc Ferdinand Evra Nani Carrick Fellani Zaha Welbeck Chico Not even mentioning Jones (CB/FB VERSION) , Smalling , Adan , Clev and co |
