Man of Steel

Really poor. Really boring. Pretty, but nonsense. 3/10.

Shaun 31-01-2014 12:05 AM

Now You See Me

It was kind of enjoyable but it would've been nice to have just had ONE likeable character that didn't talk like Aaron Sorkin wrote their dialogue. Fun film, though. 6 or 7/10.

Here Comes the Devil (2012) - Kinda wired and ****ed up, but felt like a homage Dont Look Now. It had its moments but some unanswered questions about what was really going on in the film. - 3/5

My Soul to Take (2010).

This as been on my watch list for some time, I kept pushing it back with all the bad comments and reviews I saw.

So finally gave it a go last night!

I thought the start of the movie was really good, I really enjoyed that part of the movie, it was bit confusing at the start, but that what made it more fun to me.

For me that was the best part of the movie, I didn't think the rest of the movie was as good as that but I didn't find the movie boring at all.

I thought it flowed really well at times, I don't think drag on at all. and found the death to bit boring at times, some blood moment but nothing gory.

I didn't find anything scary or creepy in this movie, , I wasn't fan of the ending at all

As I expected to be a really bad movie, that may have help it, not being so let down by it, I didn't think was as bad some comments made out to be

It was one of weakest movie from Wes Craven who brought you Elm street and Scream movies.

4 out of 10

The Green Mile - 9/10

Have been meaning to watch it for a long time, but finally did and it's brilliant. The performances from the entire cast are fantastic, especially Tom Hanks, Michael Clarke Duncan and Sam Rockwell. The story was nice and pretty heartwarming, but sad.

Bad Milo (2013) (Thanks for the recommedations DrunkerThanMoses)

This movie was perfect for me , as these are my kind of movies, this movie had me laughing so much, I can not remember last time laughed some much at a movie.

Milo was not that bad looking, it did look scary enough and in someway it looked kind cute as the same time.

There were decent bloodly moment in this movie, which I thought were really fun not too gory.

Soon as the Dad was on screen, I kind of knew were they were they going go with that, the fight scene was awesome, I was almost on floor laughing my head off.

I saw the ending coming, I loved there be a sequel and the acting was pefect!

Move over Gizmo, Milo here!

For me this a Classic! . Going to give a 9 out 10 (Still not as good gremlins but better the Critters)

The thing I didn't understand about that

Spoiler:

It treating people cost them nothing, why not treat the illnesses of the poor people, everyone gains from that.

Beastie 02-02-2014 01:10 PM

Wild Hogs! 8.5/10. Good film with great actors. Quite a bit of action and old skool.

Dallas Buyers Club

honestly the most powerful film I've seen since The Master... 10/10. Jared and Matthew both deserve the Academy Awards (can't say that conclusively since I haven't seen many of the other nominees, but still). I didn't even know it was Jared Leto, it was an incredible performance.

im gonna be watching that sooner than later. hope i like it. i watched an interview with Jared Leto saying its been five years since his last acting role before this. even though the one before came out in 2009 it was done filming in 2007. i didnt even realize he was gone for that long.

anyways last movie i saw was Gravity. i thought it was a solid flick but i didnt think it was as good as the 10 Oscar nods or how the critics praised it. nothing i care to see again tbh. i thought the acting wasnt all that great but not that bad either. the effects were good for the most part except a few wonky moments but no biggie and i got what the film was more than just the catastrophe in space. i was glad it was only 90 minutes cause this wasnt one of those serious movies that needed 2/2+ hours like many serious big scale ones have.

7.5/10

I want to see Dallas Buyers Club and the last movies I've watched are:

Lone Survivor

August: Osage County

I'd never heard of the play it was based on, the dialogue is rich. The characters are well rounded and feel like real people also the casting was brilliant 9/10

Chariot

I really enjoyed this, it's a mystery movie that does a good job with a low budget 7/10

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit
http://i.imgur.com/jXOulRJ.jpg
This is kinda slow moving with moments of action, I thought it was so-so 6/10

Homefront

Pretty good, I think this is the 1st film I've watched that I've really liked Jason Statham 7/10
