I went to the bus stop to travel to work
and met my friend Mary ----Agnes points at the other woman on the bench----
then I noticed her mittens
and began to feel dreary
I asked her if she had any to spare
but expected her reaction
"you must be joking, I have none to share!"

The stage begins to dim slowly as the music fades and a pair of mittens falls from the ceiling and lands at Agnes's feet, she looks at the camera and does one of those smiles with a sparkle on her front tooth, then the stage fades to complete darkness
