but they're so friendly, i mean if you're gardening (we'd let them out sometimes to roam in the garden) they come up to you and like try and find worms and talk to you its so funny

Chickens are horrible beasts.

well we usually have to buy them in the winter as they stop laying but when we had 25 chickens we would have like 25 eggs
they last a week or so an its a family of six so
