It’s cute but it’s probably bottom 5 on TF

It's embarrassing how offended I feel when my friends insult Gaga lol

I talked about Lady Gaga with someone for an hour today, the Born This Way era changed both of our lives.

“All she did was talk about herself”

On top of ASIB debuting at #1 in the US AND UK, 4 other songs charted in the US

No. 5, "Shallow," Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper
No. 36, "I'll Never Love Again," Lady Gaga
No. 41, "Always Remember Us This Way," Lady Gaga
No. 63, "Is That Alright?," Lady Gaga
No. 93, "Maybe It's Time," Bradley Cooper

INLA charted at #35 here but has risen to #30 as of today’s midweeks and ARUTW #39 up to #32 today too

So effortless

One of my favourite things about this era is how ****ing GORGEOUS she looks all the time. Amazing, high fashion. What a look in her Zane Lowe interview! She's serving sheer glamour.

Beauty and a sense of completeness are radiating from her in every appearance at the moment. It's 2018 and Gaga is now that girl - she's made it!

An Academy voter just confirmed that Shallow is eligible and was submitted everywhere this year (Best Song Written For Visual Media, Pop DG, Song Of The Year & Record Of The Year)

Another 4 Grammys noms/wins incoming!!

The soundtrack was released after the submission date so that will compete/sweep :hehe: in the 2019 awards!

TomC 19-10-2018 06:18 PM

Shallow is 4!

Smithy 19-10-2018 06:21 PM

My bad :hee: it actually tied with LM for the number of sales but must have just had a few more streams

TomC 19-10-2018 06:26 PM

I think this is her highest charting song since Applause? Or maybe BTW?

Smithy 19-10-2018 06:30 PM

Born this way! Her highest in 7 years :o

I guess it sort of shows charts don’t really mean much, everyone knows Edge of Glory, Applause, DWUW, The Cure, even Million Reasons to an extent

I really wouldn't underestimate how much the UK GP has slept on her since DWUW IMO!

Don't think any of my friends listened Joanne apart from a very select few

Well they’ve stopped sleeping on ha now! Shallow is extending its lead over the #2 spot on iTunes to almost 40%!!

ASIB remains #1 on BB200 it’ll more than likely be certified gold next week in the US and I wouldn’t be surprised if it ended up being one of the best selling (sans SPS, actually bought) albums of the YEAR when all is said and done
