typically they would use twitter for that type of message and keep it away from the cut and thrust of the commons

They do on occasion make / ask / congratulate on personal matters though
.

Starmer won’t want to take his foot of Boris’s neck though ..

They do on occasion make / ask / congratulate on personal matters though and in this case it would be entirely appropriate, I feel

How would it be appropriate? Say the baby had taken a turn for the worse? Say Carrie has asked her children be kept out of the commons? Its not for the leader of the opposition to ask about the health of a sick child on TV.....its completely inappropriate. You just want a stick to beat Starmer with here. Keep it to the politics....not the children

She’s on the mend according to the article.. I feel that it would be entirely appropriate for Starmer to offer a kind word or two at this time .

Just an opinion

The news wasn't public yesterday....how would it be appropriate for the leader of the opposition to ask a personal question of the PM about his baby when the PM and his wife have not released that information into the public yet? That is an invasion of the Johnson's privacy

Stating he has the "common decency" implies that you thought he didn't have the decency to have asked already. I am sure he will have asked already in all honesty, we are not privy to every conversation

Say all you Zizu....say I am digging a hole but the implication is clear. The fact of the matter is you suggested he should ask at the next PMQs on the health of the child.....why? Starmers kids have had covid.....did Boris have the common decency to ask about them? Not in PMQs he hasn't....possibly in private communication. We just don't know.

It is actually impossible to have a conversation with you about Boris, you hold him in such high regard because he is "likeable" that its just not worth it.

I hope you are feeling better now

I haven’t been out of bed really since Tuesday morning .. I hurt everywhere and this is the third day of a bad headache

[A senior Tory today warned Boris Johnson's
allies might be 'blackmailing' would-be rebels
and urged them to call in the police - as the PM
was given a temporary reprieve from the
Partygate coup attempt.

William Wragg, chair of the
Commons Public Administration Committee
,
said he had been told of
'pressures and intimidation' being used on politicians.]

I thought I had it as I've had a head cold for a couple of days but I had run out of tests . Feel ok to be honest and almost relieved that it will be out of the way. I have been isolating anyway because my son has it too so don't think I've passed it to anyone else.

Yikes ... presumably 3 different variants as well , possibly?

Have they been real poorly or not too bad each time ?
