The figures dont stack up, you post them every day are they going up by 900 per day?

Also someone said we shouldnt be looking at SA as they got their immunity in a different way...i.e herd immunity...

the only thing it could be is that more people left hospital than were admitted ..... the number is a current snapshot, not the number of admissions/leavers

what it the point of daily numbers then if they are not reasonably accurate?

may as well do weekly ones

they show the current bed occupancy, but even then, it could be someone in hospital with an itchy foot that also happens to have covid, so i think it all needs to be taken with a pinch of salt

This is what we are being told yet it seems journalists dont want to do due diligence on the numbers just churn it out unsubstansiated ...

I suppose the only thing you can say about the above is they said 'requiring treatment' ...they didn't necessarily say covid treatment :laugh:

i just have no faith in the media at all it this point. They want a lockdown this christmas so they can then moan about the government having a lockdown, and they are doing everything in their power at the moment to try and force a lockdown whether its actually needed or not

Didn’t one of the top guys say that herd immunity isn’t gonna be an option for us with Covid19 (for some reason I forget )

The SA are apparently much younger nation ( average) compared to us which is an important factor apparently

The media are parasites though aren’t they ... they just want stories even it means them driving or even ‘guiding’ the storylines.

I get vexed with people like that Beth woman who loves jumping on any gossip or someone who’s done something against the rules yet wasn’t she herself suspended from Sky for 3 months for braking the Covid 19 rules ?

Its supposed to be a massive one today, I was invited along by someone last week, but I'm working.

We have agreed as a family to not mention the dirty Covid word again until early January :)
