not that much though, only 4 points behind Helen

but now i see that dull non-celeb Helen woman making the final sadly  same sympathy storyline as Kara Tointon, Abbey Clancy, Sophie Ellis-Bextor had :idc:

and Helen will be the winner too i fear :yuk:

Vanessa 28-11-2022 09:21 AM

Omg apparently Will has Miss Saigon! Really hope it's true. One of my favourite musicals. It's brilliant and I can already see Will and Nancy as the main characters!

Lewismacfarlane 28-11-2022 10:58 AM

6th fluer and Vito
5th molly and Carlos
4th kym and graziano
3rd will and Nancy
2nd Helen and gorka
1st hamza and jowita

Just watched on catch-up. Right result, Ellie is way off the pace at this stage. Fleur didn't deserve to be in the dance-off, Hamza should have been in it. Farcical marking for the Argentine Tango. Comments from Craig, who is the only one who knows anything about it, were spot on, but then he gave it an 8 - clearly being pressured by Shirley. The Argentine Tango is just as much a walking dance as the ballroom Tango, but with an A shaped embrace instead of a V shape. Lifts should look totally seamless and be brief and secondary to an embrace-led dance. Leader ganchos are unnecessary; they can be put in but need to be really sharp (which they weren't). Like the all-male Argentine Tango last year (which Craig actually overmarked) this looked like a clunky series of lifts and poses and not a dance. Molly should have been top, then Fleur. Will and Helen looked similar level this week. No matter the quality of the dances the judges, especially Shirley, seem determined to do their best to get 2 men in the final.

I agree with you on Hamza's AT, it was mediocre at best imo.

I remember really liking John's last year though, but then I remember thinking that him, AJ & Rhys were the ones that it should've been between to win.

Molly has the Charleston according to Wikipedia.

Nicky91 30-11-2022 01:33 PM

yes Molly has Georgia & Gio's charleston song

Kym dancing cha cha to Fame :flutter:

looking forward to watching it saturday (i can't miss masked singer honestly, our series 4 is so so good, best one yet)

What's the Christmas strictly theme this time as we have confirmed Ricky and Rosie Ramsay. Is it past contestants other halves? As Melvin has already done strictly (his other half in the same sense if Ant n Dec) and won the Xmas one and Chris Ramsay has already done strictly too

Nicky91 02-12-2022 01:53 PM

if i have to rank my lets dance germany favourites

Quote:

1. Lili Paul-Roncalli & Massimo Sinato  i mean Lili is just perfect, so humble, so likeable yet coming from such a worldfamous circus family, and so so talented

2. Oliver Pocher & Christina Luft  he was the novelty act yes but he didn't act like the clown all the time just bc he is a comedian, a good mix of dance content with entertainment, his freddie mercury dressup for paso doble remains forever iconic

3. Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht & Renata Lusin :bawling: should've won if not for his knee injury, his paso to another one bites the dust amazing

4. Ingolf Luck & Ekaterina Leonova 62 yrs old and slaying as if he is in his 30's, debbie mcgee who? am happy he won too, with his shrek showdance

5. Pascal Hens & Ekaterina Leonova, lol at production trying to stitch Ekat up first failing with oldest and then with by far the tallest male ever taken part so far, and again failing, because he also is soooo light on his feet and such a lovely personality to go with that

6. Ulrika von der Groeben & Valentin Lusin, she is a duffer but such a cute partnership this was

7. Ailton & Isabel Edvardsson, he couldn't dance quite well but am glad he was able to share a traditional brazilian salsa

8. Rurik Gislason & Renata Lusin, dancing thor good fun and his magic moment tribute to his recently passed away mom was so emotional

9. Rene Casselly & Kathrin Menzinger, his circus/ninja warrior moves so entertaining, him talking to his elephants is so funny, and overall a deserving winner

10. Nicolas Puschmann & Vadim Garbuzov, the greatest same-sex partnership so far, there i said it, and Vadim is with every right King Choreo

honorable mention: Jan Hofer & Christina Luft, MR Tageschau doing this show at the age of 69, such a cute partnership as if a grandfather and granddaughter dancing together :flutter: his Jive wasn't bad at all for a man his age to forever young (baseballs version)
strictly had some great partnerships too, but RTL production also are doing amazingly well at pairing them up

Vanessa 02-12-2022 05:34 PM

Strictly Jake 02-12-2022 08:12 PM

There are far too many 10s doled out, but that dance was pro standard I agree.

Mystic Mock 02-12-2022 09:21 PM

Imo I thought that there were four good performances, one average performance, and one bad performance.

Good:
Will
Fleur
Molly
Helen - A little bit overscored though.

Average:
Hamza - Again overscored.

Bad:
Kym

Better dances this series didn't get a 40 tbf.

Vanessa 02-12-2022 09:28 PM

Hamza is not impressing me at all. I wouldn't be surprised if Helen won instead. She's way better than he is.
