Shambles of a man, absolutely no different to Johnson.

Not going to an Arsenal game is a step too far for Keir, but it's not a step too far for the old and sick to do without their heating in winter

Yes he does not like
being verbally attacked.

But he should get on with his job

The thing is he doesn't need to take the freebie, he could easily pay for it himself, he is trying to imply that if he didn't take the freebie he would never get to a game, its just nonsense

He could donate that freebie to a charity to raffle off but no...snout firmly in trough

Cherie 19-09-2024 01:09 PM

He is completely on the back foot now, how can he with a straight face tell the rest of us to tighten our belts, he has taken more freebies than any other MP ...even Johnson...

Beso 19-09-2024 02:55 PM

I wish slim would rip into him.

remember when boris got downing street wallpapered by a donor and Starmer went to a wallpaper shop to criticise him? The hypocrisy is staggering

To be fair to Slim, he has!

PM Starmer
has spoken to Local TV reporters (ITV & BBC)
in the Downing Street garden.

Downing Street Staff had a stopwatch
to limit their time.

He will build more Local Housing
but would not confirm any new Doctors or Hospitals.

They are under review
how long is he playing that game?

Next week is the Labour Party Conference

Mad how a government elected to 'clean up politics' has had so many ethics scandals in their first 100 days

It's not even like they're offering positive policies to quell the anger - all they've done so far is take money from pensioners, threaten a punishing budget and talk about banning smoking outside

He's gone in the head. Not only is his policy to let elderly people freeze this winter, insane and wicked, while migrants toast in 4 star hotels with the heating full blast, but he has no shame in having his and his wife's clothes bought for them.

He also went to America to see Biden because he and dopey Lammy wanted to personally bomb Russian. Thankfully Biden sent them home packing.

I never thought I'd say it but Liz Truss looks like our greatest PM compared to Starmer.

What a great post. :pipe:

Yes Starmer is avoiding all that

saying it has gone through the proper channels?

Of course many older folks
need that £300 bonus
that he has taken away.

I've been ripping into him since about 5 minutes after he became LOTO. He lied egregiously to win that election, and he did it again to the country. Joey won't even acknowledge my existence these days, because I tried to tell him who he was supporting. I would guess I've probably been his biggest critic on the forum.

Please tell me exactly what you think I've missed?

Decades ago, when Corbyn was working for a tailoring trade union he negotiated a deal successfully, and after everything was finalised he was offered a suit by a tailors. He turned it down because of how it would look

The right wing of the labour party aided by a willing right wing media, smeared with total fabrications, a man with honesty, integrity, and principles, all because the thought of a country that asked them to pay more in tax so we could improve things, was just too much to accept. The country is finished. The last chance to drag it back passed in 2019, We are on the path of the US now, where everything will be privatised, and politics exists to tread on citizenry to pass money upwards. I'm only interested in policies and government that work for the people, not the other way round.

Unless people start looking into the truth of socialism, and not the cold war- pushed narratives, there's no way back from this point. Our living standards are below Poland and Serbia, and we still call ourselves the gtreatest country on earth because we enslaved half the world a few centuries ago. We're a failed democracy, and a failed society. There is no need for us to live like this. It's pure and simple apathy. France rioted when they tried to raise the pension age. We have the lowest pension in western Europe, the lowest welfare support, the highest age of retirement, and for what?

Because the homeless shelter volunteer, and amateur jam maker n was just too dangerous. Absolute fcuking madness.

Unless people are willing to move their votes away from the monolithic labories, in order to vote for progressive change, then things are only going to get worse.

Unless Starmer has to sack reeves because she becomes too toxic for his reputation, by the time she's finished, there is a good chance she ends up as reviled as Thatcher when all is said and done.

Look at this young man, who was probably the most polarising man in the country for a few years, yet he always paid for his own tickets, and despite the physical threats aimed at him, he always goes in the stands with the people. He was in far more danger than Starmer has ever been.

The country chose the wrong path.
