This one is a bit softer imo.

…oh thank you for that..…she does have a great voice and they’re strong musicians, aren’t they…I do appreciate their talent, I’m not sure that I’d listen to them a lot but I’m glad that you’ve introduced me to them…it’s good to stretch out to different genres, I think…

I agree with you about her talent being really strong imo, and I personally do really like the Band in general.

And I definitely agree with you that it's always good to try out different genres of Music, as I personally was really elitist with my Music taste when I was younger, which I am trying to change that nowadays.

Hence ironically why I have become such a big fan of Ella Langley, because younger me would've snubbed her for singing Country Music.

Obviously though I get that we all have genres that we're less likely to enjoy, and I understand that Metal can be that genre for a lot of people.

As I'm getting older I'm starting to hate Rap lol, I still don't mind some of the old stuff like Eminem and 50 Cent (I won't mention the other ones name lol) but I can't stand some of the modern stuff in the genre.

Maybe GTA VI will get me back into it when it comes out.

…country music is something I’ve always kind of liked but it’s always been in the background a bit as well in that I haven’t really focused so much in it …but I seem to be more and more now…I think it was being introduced to Orville Peck that led me more to Country…I mean, it’s all about the voice more and he’s just so tremendous……I don’t know if you’re familiar with him, Mock…but I would totally recommend checking him out…

I really like the song, like you I really got drawn to his voice.

And I get what you mean, as Country Music has only recently started gaining any sort of mainstream traction in the UK, so any interest in the genre was always going to be a bit tricky.

Presumably you know the Queen of country/ pop crossover is Kacey Musgraves !

She won the prestigious Country Album of the year award a few years ago - the first female winner since Dolly Parton in the 70’s or something

This song is for/about mothers/mamas everywhere

She occasionally has her mom on stage and sings it to her - it’s only a very short song but supposedly meaningful- I have never listened to the lyrics though
