According to Inside Soap Diane is finally back on screen next Monday as she takes in a new lodger? They better be right or i'll be tweeting the Producer again:laugh2:.

Yeah, remember when Noah gave Doug a massage? There was so much sexual chemistry between them. I genuinely thought they were going to end up sleeping together.

Who you should be saying that about is Ste. He turned gay out of nowhere tbh.

Anyway, aside from the topic, wahheyyy this is the 6000th post

That sounds logical.
Maybe he doesn't want to accept he's gay.
Oh this is Ste all over again :idc:

I agree that the Ste going gay thing happened out of nowhere!

bbfan1991 10-04-2012 05:44 PM

Scott and Barney are hilarious in London:D.

Scott's Nan is cool and Barbara Young who plays her is a talented Actress. I liked her in Family Affairs:).

Maybe he dropped the soap? :joker:

I suspect the change was because Kieron confirmed the rumours about him being gay, so they thought it would be good to write it in for his character?:suspect:

I think so. But he was always a bit camp! :)

This show is making "turning" gay look like an epidemic now. I'd suggest they just introduce characters that are gay from the off to do these storylines, but the last thing Hollyoaks needs is more cast members.

Btw what's been going on with Ash lately? I may have missed an episode :/
Can someone explain pls lol

Hollyoaks star Dan O'Connor has promised that there is a big storyline on the way for his character Ally Grogan.

Ally arrived in the village in February and has since embarked on a relationship with Amy Barnes, played by Ashley Slanina-Davies.

Hollyoaks bosses have previously teased that Ally is hiding a secret, which will become clear on screen in the coming months.

O'Connor told Soaplife of the upcoming revelation: "All I can say is that there's a very big, meaty storyline coming up for him and I'll be in the show at least until the end of this year."

Asked if Amy could be hurt by Ally's secret, he replied: "It would be nice if she wasn't, but this is a soap - and soaps need drama."

Hollyoaks fans see Ally and Amy's relationship progress later this month, leaving Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) concerned.

O'Connor said: "I think Ste's feeling protective. Amy and Ally are having what's meant to be a romantic lunch, and Ste interrupts to ask Ally what his intentions are. Ally's a bit frustrated, but he understands why Ste feels he needs to look after Amy.

"He tells Ste he wants a committed relationship with Amy. He fell for her the first time he met her."

I'm confused, they have just been flirting and are not even in a relationship at the moment.

Hollyoaks star Mandip Gill has revealed details of the drama in store when Phoebe Jackson's mother arrives in the village in a fortnight's time.

Phoebe is back living with Jacqui and Rhys Ashworth (Claire Cooper and Andrew Moss) when her mum Mel turns up unexpectedly, causing more turmoil for the troubled teenager.

Gill told All About Soap: "It's a massive shock, because she hasn't seen her mother for a long time. It's clear from the off that Phoebe doesn't get on well with Mel. Their relationship is volatile.

"Phoebe has done a lot without her, and now she feels that she doesn't need her. To Phoebe, her mum isn't her mum - she's just a person called Mel."

She continued: "Phoebe finds the situation very overwhelming and ends up running away. Jacqui tracks her down and there's a bit of a fight between Jacqui and Mel as to who Phoebe is going to live with.

"Phoebe's been harbouring a dark secret about her mum for a while, and it's very explosive when the truth is revealed. It goes a long way to explain why Phoebe acts the way she does. It's very dramatic."

Gill also confirmed that she is now a regular cast member at Hollyoaks, admitting that she feels "very grateful and so lucky".

I think Ste is right not to trust Ally. He has a big secret! Maybe he's married with kids? :conf:

Not everyone likes them, well I dont

I find the guy who plays Ste a terrible actor, and Brendan is over-rated and they give him all the storylines and side line other characters.

No wonder people are saying some characters are boring when they dont even get a chance to have a s/l

Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson has teased the future of Ste Hay's surprise new storyline with Doug Carter.

Earlier this week, viewers saw Doug (PJ Brennan) begin to question whether he was seeing Ste as more than just a friend as they shared a hug at their new business.

The pair recently teamed up to open a deli in the village and are currently working to get the outlet ready for launch.

Richardson today (April 13) told Channel 5's Live With Myleene: "Ste didn't have any friends, so he's started this friendship with Doug. And they've now become business partners and maybe something else might happen - a relationship possibly."

Pressed on whether fans can expect a romance for the duo, he continued: "Yeah, I think so! Doug [tries] to set him up on online dating, so when Ste does go on a date with another guy, Doug gets these feelings.

"Is he jealous that he's going on a date with a guy, is he jealous because his friend has been taken away from him? He's questioning all his emotions, and then in the weeks to come you'll find out why."

Doug's unexpected feelings have led to uncertainty over what the future holds for Ste's on-off relationship with Brendan Brady (Emmett Scanlan)

Richardson continued: "Brendan's always going to be in the mix. Obviously last year we did quite a big storyline - it was gay domestic abuse, which is hard to do.

"A lot of 'Stendan' fans, they are desperate for Ste and Brendan to be together. We've got 'Stendan' and 'Stug' - I'm just happy that my name's in both of them! The 'Stendan' fans are going absolutely mental and want Ste and Brendan to be together.

"But I think if we really do take a serious look, it's gay domestic abuse and we can't be seen to promote that. So he'll always be in the mix, but whether they're going to be together is a questionable thing."
