Watched that! Nana Moon dying was sooooo sad :/ But was great to see a recap of the Kat & Alfie storyline, and Kat and Zoe's too.

I thought it was hilarious how Alfie was excited he bought the vic and Kat looks at it in the state its in like YOU DID WUTTT.

I know, that was funny but I hope Kat doesn't keep up this hard faced cow act all the time, it doesn't suit her. I like to see the nice side of Kat too. :) Another thing I liked about tonight's episode was Alfie's chat with Dot, that was nice. Oh and his chat with Jane was nice too, I like how they haven't forgot how Alfie was friends with all these people.

Nana Moon's death had me in floods of tears:bawling::(.

Don't think many EE fans had a dry eye whilst watching that, she was such a legend of a character. I loved the episode when her and Alfie went abroad to see her late husband's grave.

Yeah and plus the Ethel Skinner episode was sad:(.

Didn't nana Moon have that special episode where they went back in time??

bbfan1991 24-09-2010 09:34 PM

I really do hope Kirkwood brings in a few characters in the 20+ group which are lacking and develops them.. Stacey will be a big loss however in a few years when the character is grown up and Lacey Turner hopefully returns will be awesome;).

Yeah that's the episode I was on about in my previous episode, I loved that episode.

I hope no more characters are brought back. I think they should maybe introduce a new family in a few years time, we need some quirky characters with substance. The Darren's and Jodie's are all very nice but are hardly in the same league as say the Dot's, Pat's and Bianca's of Walford. We need some characters with depth and who will have a long future on the show. I hope Kirkwood works now on making the show feel more like a community again, it's been ages since it's felt like one big community in Walford. There needs to be more character interaction between people who normally wouldn't speak with each other. It's essential to make the show better.

EastEnders star Shane Richie has teased viewers about his upcoming plot, labelling it the 'biggest storyline in soap history'.

The actor has reprised the role of loveable Alfie Moon after five years, and Jessie Wallace has gone back to playing Kat Moon.

Shane told This Morning: "We had a meeting last year and we got told about the storyline, which was going to be an on-going story for the best part of a year, maybe two years... and we kind of went 'Wow!'

"And I can honestly say, it's going to be the biggest soap story I think in probably the history of soaps."

He added: "I'm putting my neck on the line, and it's a big thing to say but we've recently had another meeting with the exec producer and me and Jessie are almost foaming at the mouth knowing what's going to happen!

"It really is going to be massive."

Kat and Alfie take over the Queen Vic, which is currently a burnt-out shell thanks to the recent fire.

Shane said of the boozer's future: "Kat and Alfie have really put their mark on it. It looks very much like their place."
Wonder what it will be??? Sounds promising!

Probably will be a baby swap storyline with Ronnie Mitchell

I really want Ronnie to have some good luck for once, theres only so much depressing storylines and bad luck that the viewers can take watching her:rolleyes:.

Hasn't Vanessa got any other clothes than that white thing also, it's very off putting:p:D.

Stephanie 25-09-2010 04:39 PM

i bet ronnie either miscarries again, dies, the baby dies or it gets: shot, stabbed, poisoned, dies of hunger or gets taken away..in a body bag.. or by social services.

They recast her, and I think they're recasting Lucy & Ben too

Callum 27-09-2010 07:30 PM

Great episode tonight. Had a different feel to it. Loving the new Lauren and was great to see Tanya back. Also nice to see the E20 people and Grace too, haven't seen them in a bit.

bbfan1991 27-09-2010 07:32 PM

It'll take me a while to get used to the new Lauren, new actress did OK but why did they have to get rid of Madeline Duggan?:(.

Stacey and Max awesome as usual:D.

Stephanie 27-09-2010 07:33 PM

i like the new lauren, she looks the right age now imo.

Maia 27-09-2010 08:26 PM

I love the new Lauren. I didn't think I'd like her that much but she's amazing, I'm very happy with her. At least Brian Kyrkwood's got something right :D

Jords 27-09-2010 08:51 PM

The new Lauren.
I think shes too different than before, didnt seem like her at all!

Callum 27-09-2010 09:04 PM

For me, the new Lauren is much better than the old one. She seems more grown up and I love her attitude. I hope they don't make her like a proper tearaway though, taking drugs, binge drinking etc.

bleh.

Callum 28-09-2010 03:15 PM

Poor Jean will get her heart broken again. There's a new character arriving on Friday and she will apparently be Billy's new love interest.

Callum 28-09-2010 07:54 PM

Good episode tonight but Janine ruined it for me. Anyone else find Charlie Brooks a really poor actress these days? All the hand movements and over exaggerating she does annoys me so much and she speaks weirdly too. I miss the old Janine. :( Loved Kat though mouthing off to Janine, she stole all the scenes she was in tonight. That American guy on webcam to Lauren was so unconvincing, he didn't even sound American. Still liking the new Lauren though.

I was expecting a new actress from the papers, what I didn't anticipate was a new character on top....
