Lady GaGa fears that she will face a family backlash if she falls in love with a woman, according to reports.

The 'Bad Romance' star, who previously admitted that she would start a relationship with a girl, apparently does not want her family to disown her.

"GaGa is unsure whether she wants to be with a man or a woman," a source told Look.

"She's scared that if she falls for a woman, her family will reject her, because ultimately, they want her to settle down with a man."

The insider continued: "For all GaGa's success, her love life is a mess - and at the heart of the matter is the fact I think she's scared of allowing herself to fall in love with a woman.

"If Stef's family rejected her for falling for a woman, she'd be utterly heartbroken. She adores them, especially her younger sister Natalie."

according to wsmv in nashville, the fight over the shirt has turned into a first amendment issue after goforth's mother claimed that the school is violating her son's right to free speech by sending him home to change out of the shirt when other kids who wear shirts with religious slogans or confederate flags aren't treated the same way.

Goforth, who is openly gay, drew the attention of his school's administrators on monday, when he wore the shirt that pays homage to gaga and her large gay following. He was sent home and ordered to change before returning to school because the shirt was allegedly causing a disruption. His mother said he's worn shirts with the word gay on them before with no problem and speculated that the issue is more about her son's look and orientation than the slogan.

"i think they are singling him out, i really do, and they've made statements that if he wore this in california, he'd fit in just fine," said mom julie gordon.

The local school board's dress code does not specifically ban shirts with the word "gay" on them, but it does allow each principal to interpret the dress code and take action if a student's attire causes a disruption. Administrators said they took action on monday because of a fight at the school last week.

"we've had a few disruptions the last few days, and we thought the slogan on that shirt would continue to escalate those incidents that had occurred," said danny weeks, assistant director of the school board.

"i just think my sexuality isn't widely accepted around here," goforth responded. "so of course they are going to single me out." the school said gordon can appeal the dress code.
