Forgot Jin and Sun, they'd come in above Sawyer and Juliet. Didn't really care about Hurley and Libby, thought they were alright an that's it.

yeah I didn't care much for Sun, but Jin was a legend.

Hurley and Libby was kinda cool cause it was the least likely couple. I mean a relatively fit blonde, and well, Hurley, so yeah was nice and different I guess!

Niamh. 27-05-2010 07:29 PM

Sun and Jin were a good couple, and Penny and Desmond

Locke. 27-05-2010 07:29 PM

Their relationship didn't last that long either.. They got together mid-season 2 then she died late-season 2.

Princess 27-05-2010 07:30 PM

I loved all the couples they put together in the finale except obviously Kate and Sawyer not ending up together.

I love this Wiki page about shipping

Princess 27-05-2010 07:34 PM

Well it's what it's known as.

Anyone who uses that word should be ashamed

Tions

Sawyer and Juliet were a good couple because it changed Sawyer's character. I thought there was a chance they might be reunited (in the living world) if the two timelines had come back together at the end. But that wasn't what it was about. :(

Anyway, somebody claiming to have worked on the show has posted this about the end and the series on another site - http://lostmediamentions.blogspot.co...on-finale.html

Kate and Sawyer had so much more chemistry though. and I liked Sawyer just the way he was.

I read that on a lost forum but I hear it's fake

I guess Kate and Sawyer were both on the wrong-side-of-the-law so they had that in common. Jack and Kate had about as much chemistry as two frozen peas in a freezer for most of the series, imo.

Jack improved as a character the most though over the course of the show.

That doesn't work at all! Shipping involves words like being a shipper, supporting a ship, shipping a couple. We can't be couplers.

Shasown 28-05-2010 12:15 AM

BS. Sawyer and Jack both realised what a slag kate was playing them off each other and bouncing from one to the other, so turned to each other for manly loving and solace

LOL! In normal people world, shipping has nothing to do with obsessing over fictional couples

Just finished watching the season finale of lost. I succeeded in my goal of avoiding spoilers for 2 months. Havent watched any episode since episode 10, and I just watched 11 through the end in one go! I was getting sick of waiting every week, just to watch 40 minutes. LOL! But That was epic! :) I cant believe I pulled it off without reading any spoilers. I think from now on, I am gonna do that with most of my favorite shows, watch them in chunks of like 5 episodes. Its a lot less annoying! :)

But anyways, I thought it was a pretty decent ending. there were definitely cop outs, but I can understand that. With all the theories running around about every aspect of the series, it was difficult to surprise the fans, since they analyse it sooo much. But they had to put something unpredicatable for the finale.
I believe that originally, it was definitely meant to be purgatory, the whole thing, not just the parallel universe part. BUt at some point, they probably decided to change it because everyone else had guessed it. The not being able to have babies, definitely points to that, since its purgatory, except for Claires kid of course who was already pregnant.

But yeah, like someone else said, it was emotionally good of an ending, but definitely not intellectually. This is more for the people who like lovey dovey stuff, everyone ends up in couples, and happy endings, even though they are dead already. WHatever, if you like that sort of thing. I dont mind, but I didnt like lost so much because of its couples, but mainly because of all the crazy unexplained happenings!
So, they havent explained A LOT of the things that went on in the first 3 to 4 seasons. I think they should have answered a lot of the small detailed mysteries, little by little throughout the season, but they didnt so much.
Could have been better, but it was pretty good. I never put all the weight of a show on its season finale anyways. It rarely lives up to expectations. The whole body of the show is so good, that I dont care if everything isnt answered. Its one of the mystery of lost!

Sad though, cant believe its actually all over! i felt the same when battlestar gaLLACTIca ended!

Hmm, I just had a thought... remember Eko was building a church? Maybe the final scene was meant to take place in Eko's church. We know that Eko was going to stay on the show for a lot longer than he did.

iRyan 28-05-2010 02:27 AM

I already miss this show :(

I cried like six times during the finale haha. Lost is the only show i've EVER cried during.
